    Bayou slow to ship?

Before anyone gets pithy, I read their disclaimer and accepted the 12 to 14 week delay. I placed an order in December 2020 and after 4 weeks I ordered more bullets in January 2021,figuring that with the delay I would have a somewhat steady supply of bullets coming after the first long delay...

    Carry ammo for LC9S Question

I have the LC9s pro and love it. I must have got a good one because, so far, it has ate everything I've fed it. I reload and it has run every load (many different powders/bullets) including hollow points without any problems. I carry Hornady Critical Defense which run super.. PS I've shot...

What is the deal with slide "lightening" cuts?

I have a Glock 26 & 34. 34 has a cut-out. Do you suppose, because slide is approx. 2" longer on 34, cut-out lightens slide so same recoil spring can be used in both guns. Just sayin'

Tendency for gun store clerks to wrap up the display model

Bottom Line.....It's my money and I'm going to buy the one I want. Display or Box, my choice. The one I like is the one I get.

Do you ever feel like your gun interests are just too varied to be healthy?

I've been shooting since I was 7 or 8 years old (don't remember exactly, as it was a long time ago), been buying guns since I was old enough to get a part time job to pay for them. I own more than some, less than others. I enjoy both shooting, reloading and purchasing a new gun every now and...

Simple question: Is it really worth it to have a laser on a pistol?

If your laser light is sighted in and you pistol sights are on.....when you present pistol(training ???) both will be on target, chose the one you like and pull the dam$% trigger. milliseconds to decide. Not exactly rocket science.

Titegroup powder in 9mm - Too hot?

Like many others, I used Titegroup when powders were scarce and it was one of the few powders available in my area. I got introduced to a bunch of new powders because of this shortage and developed some good loads. I load mostly pistol. I use Titegroup for 9mm with 115gr cast bullets both...

    Brass Shining Made Easy!

I dry tumble cases first to remove crud (approx 1 hr) then deprime and resize cases, next ultrsonic clean for approx 20 min, they come out very clean. Load shell then touch-up in tumbler with plain dry medium (30 min). Works for me.

    Titegroup powder

I like Titegroup for 9mm using cast (coated and uncoated)115gr bullets. Most off my loads are middle of the load range as I try for accuracy & ease of shooting as opposed to fast and hot. Works real good in my Glock 26, lc9sp and the good o' Hipoint.

I"m a convert ! (pistol primer pocket cleaning)

I dry tumble (enough to clean the crud off so as not to foul my die), resize & decap then ultrasonic bath for 20 min...works for me for clean primmer pockets and cases.

    Ignorance on display story

I was going to post a longer reply, but reading some of the animosity toward non-gun owners in the posts I don't think it would do any good. I believe the high road just got a bit lower so with some restraint, I will just keep quiet except for this..... "An armed society is a POLITE society"

Simple question: Is it really worth it to have a laser on a pistol?

Not sure what "shooting defensively, as an armed citizen in the peacetime USA" means, but I have a green laser/light on my go to (when things go bump in the night), Glock 34 so that my 70 plus eyes don't have to strain looking for sights in the dark. I know I should have night sights and hours...

Anyone use Hornady Sonic cleaner for brass???

I have used Hornady Sonic Cleaner, after dry tumbling in walnut shells and resizing/decapping, in a generic ultrasonic cleaner unit and it does a good job on the primmer pockets, I agree that you must rinse and dry cases good after ultrasonic bath. I'm happy with results. Been reloading for...

    CFE Pistol?

I've developed CFE-pistol loads for 9mm, 40 S&W and 38/357 mag due to the powder shortages in the last few years. Works good in the 9mm and 40 but a little anemic in the 357 mag. I agree, much better powders available for 38/ 357 mag

Looking for good primer pocket cleaner

I dry tumble shot cases in plain walnut shells(approx 2 hrs to get main dirt off) then inspect, deprime and resize. Next step, ultrasonic clean with hornady cleaner (approx 30 min.) then dry in oven or in the winter time top of the wood burner. Does real good job on the primer pockets but I...

Glock Grip Angle and Wrist Pain

pblanc Didn't mean to get in a pissen' match with you, but I must of hit a nerve..sorry bout that, but I get tired of constant Glock bashing ( not the right angle, ugly, brick, recoil bad) I own Glocks, S&W, Colts, Ruger and yes even a Hi -point. They all go bang, they all hit where I point...

Glock Grip Angle and Wrist Pain

Simple solution for the Glock haters. STOP shooting them, STOP buying them, and STOP bad-mouthing them.....this too would be less annoying.

Who's chrony data do you trust?

Been loading for handguns and rifle for more than half-century with good results without a chrony. Got one for Christmas a couple years back..good little tool. I use it mostly to check my reloads, in different weapons, against the many (way too many) reloading manuals I've collected. I don't...
