    You got one what, a G.I. is not a Mil-spec and you have a G.I... the thread is about a mil-spec. I'm noticing more and more people doing this. Stop calling G.I.'s mil-specs!

    Here is the scenario... $1300 to spend

    I'd say for the .380 a bersa thunder, for .40 a XD service model (4"), and for .45 a Springfield Mil-spec. Adds up to that cost pretty nicely.

    Definitely the springfield, I dislike Sig 1911's very much.. everyone I've tried have been very finicky. But Sig's P22X series on the other hand, I love quite a lot.

    It's a great choice, I've fired a CZ75B in .40 and it really doesn't have much recoil compared to other 40's i've fired. I say go for it. :cool:

    ^^ The GI's have horrible sights, it really is worth the upgrade to go to a mil-spec instead.
