I will try factory loads, but I have never seen a rifle that will shoot better with factory loads than with carefully prepared hand loads.

The neck tension is about ideal, and I use only redding's best dies.

Thanks for the welcome Steve. If it were a Remington I would know exactly what to do with it, since I build so many custom rifles on Remington 700 actions; but I do not have much in depth knowledge about these AR rigs. Thanks for the ideas.

Thanks for the suggestions Robert 101, but I have scoped the chamber, bore, chamber, and crown; and I have checked the rings and mounts, and tried two different Leupold scopes with no improvement in groups. If I was sure that a new, custom barrel would fix the problem, I would just buy a Lilja...

The crown is good. I have inspected it with my bore scope and it looks good.

Yup, I think that I will give mine a one way ticket to a gun show. Let me know how yours shoots with the new barrel. I might just have to try a new Lilja barrel and see if it will shoot with that.
