Government Admits AR-15s Are Not Weapons of War

The Dick Act of 1902 - Gun Control FORBIDDEN! Were you aware of this law? DICK ACT of 1902 - CAN'T BE REPEALED (GUN CONTROL FORBIDDEN) - Protection Against Tyrannical Government It would appear that the administration is counting on the fact that the American Citizens don't know this, their...

What qualities bother you most about businesses which sell firearms?

This is not listed on the poll but it is what caused me to stop going to a certain LGS. I ordered a gun from an online dealer to be sent to the LGS (I've done that a lot). It was shipped by FED-EX and I kept track of the shipping progress. I knew when it was going be delivered so I went to the...

Tell me about the craziest issue you've seen with a new gun...

In 2014, I ordered a black powder pistol from Cabela's. When I got it, it looked beautiful. I started to clean it and soon noticed something not quite right. The barrel was for a .44 caliber pistol and the cylinder was for a .36 caliber pistol. It was sent back to Cabela's and its replacement...

Future of SCOTUS / 2A changed forever

Trump is not President yet. Several of the electoral voters have backed out of their pledges to vote for Trump. It is still possible for Clinton to be President. Wait until after Dec. 19th. and see who is President. If Clinton does end up winning the electoral vote I will not really be...

    Have you ever???

Boy, have I ever. 50 years ago I was in the Navy. I was a mechanic in a squadron that flew A4 Skyhawks. We were in the Jacksonville, Fla. area. I was replacing the air conditioning turbine on a trainer (had 2 seats) and the "brass" was in a hurry to get it done and in the air. I used to bum...

Legal Restrictions: help the European hunters and shooters

In any country now, the people trying to take away peoples guns are the very people that are protected by many armed guards. They don't need to have their own guns but some of them do carry concealed weapons. Example: Sen. Diane Feinstein has a concealed carry permit and carries a pistol. She is...

Another Puzzlement To Me: Navy Arms .36 Ridgefield

Not the first time a mismatch has been made. I posted this in another forum last April: "Just received the UBERTI 1861 .36 cal. Navy I ordered from Dixie. Really beautiful and functions perfectly. At full cock the cylinder is locked tight and will not move. The trigger pull is very light...

    A mystery for you...

Ephraim Kibbey: The box looks just as new as the box my 1862 pistol came in and they both arrived the same day. The paperwork that comes with the pistols also looks new.

    A mystery for you...

EljaySL: Looking at the 2002 model and my 2014 model side by side, they are virtually identical. The build quality seems the same on both of them. The only thing I might wonder about is whether the steel used in the 2002 model is the same quality as the steel used in the 2014 model.

    A mystery for you...

Old Fuff: I guess it is possible that it was stuck at the bottom of the pile. One thing I just noticed is that '2014' is stamped under the barrel. My other 'Dance' doesn't have anything stamped there. Possibly Pietta put together a pistol with a 12 year old frame that already has a 'BS' stamp...

    A mystery for you...

noelf2: I've put up with BS for 67 years so I'm almost used to it. Jim Watson: I just want to be sure I didn't get a 'refurbished' problem. If it was 150 years old, I'd celebrate for a week (or more).

    A mystery for you...

On 12/08/14 I ordered a JH Dance and bros. .44 cal. pistol from Cabela's (in addition to a 1862 .36 cal. army police pistol). I got them both today 12/12/14. I opened the 'Dance' box first and checked it over for any visible problems. It looks great, locks up tight, and nice light trigger feel...

    bad range etiquette Q

I think that the person who saw it being done should report it to whoever is in charge of the range and the person doing the changing should be banned from the range.

1858 44cal "Engraved" with spare Cylinder on Sale

I agree; it's well worth the $229. I just expected "more quality" in the engraving. It's too pretty to shoot so I ordered an 1858 New Army .44 with a 5 1/2 inch barrel to shoot. I noticed Cabela's also shows an 1860 pistol that is engraved.

1858 44cal "Engraved" with spare Cylinder on Sale

I got one at $229+no tax+free shipping and it looks very nice. They are now listed for $299. Somebody on another forum said the $229 price was an error so that's why they're now at $299. Looked at the 'laser engraving' with a 10x magnifier. I am about as far as you can be from being an authority...

    Just Curious..Sounds Silly But...

Wouldn't it be humorous if the drug smugglers south of the US found it to be more profitable in the future to bring guns into the country and sell them instead of cocaine and pot? The "crackheads" would totally flip out.:uhoh:

Looks like Kerry is going to sign the UN Gun Bill

Obama has been playing the Senate like a fisherman with a 10 pound bass on a 4 pound line. They are just too dumb to get it. He gets everything he really wants from them. He will probably get this too.

Quitting caffeine is now a mental disorder - could this be held against you?

It is just one more way the current regime is trying to block your access to firearms. You may expect it to get worse.

Has Anyone Actually Seen A Gun "Go Off" By Itself?

I dropped my Italian made .380 auto pistol in the house several years ago and when it hit the floor, barrel first, it went off and blew a hole in the floor. There had never been any "work" done to the trigger and that was the only time it happened.
