California Gun Owners Could Use Your Help Against SB249

A nice thought, but so far the RKBA fight in California has been a nearly continuous string of losses.

California Gun Owners Could Use Your Help Against SB249

There aren’t too many people who think an AWB or mag ban has any chance at the Federal level, while California has had both for years. Again, California’s problems are unique to California. Nothing wrong with asking for help, but don’t portray the fight as Californians working to protect the...

California Gun Owners Could Use Your Help Against SB249

I don’t think you are doing your side any favors by telling Red Staters that what happens in California is a harbinger for them. California’s leftist electorate has been electing gun-haters and supporting anti-gun legislation for decades and there is no evidence that Red States are following...

California Court: reasonable jury could conclude Glock design faulty

The design did not contribute to the accident, the fault was entirely with the officer who negligently left the firearm where the child could reach it. There have been plenty of negligent discharges with safety-equipped firearms. The idea of relying a firearm’s safety for accident...

    Calling Californians...!

Speak for yourself- kludged up ARs are pathetic and embarrassing, not some sort of win for RKBA.

That is much appreciated, thank you. :)

45 wadcutters vs JHP as self defense ammo?

If anyone out there has the expertise, I’d be interested in hearing a gel penetration estimate for Federal’s .45 Match SWC (185 grain). Just out of curiosity. Or if anyone has a street usage report, that would be interesting too.

    Who favors unified guns laws?

Redundancy for the purpose of emphasis.

    Who favors unified guns laws?

The problem with unified firearms law is that dirtbag leftist states like California would have a say in it.

    Concealed carry on indian reservation

. Call me cynical, but I think if I report that a Tribal LEO stole my firearm the local county/state PD won’t care a whit. But I will keep it in mind should the situation ever arise.

    Concealed carry on indian reservation

Just out of curiosity, if your firearm is confiscated by a Tribal LEO (regardless of whether he was legally justified in doing so) what recourse do you have?

We California Gun Owners Are In Our Own New Battle!

Yes, let's see some evidence that the success of anti-gun Democrats in California is spreading to other states.

    Five tips for pocket carry

Me too. I use a handkerchief tied in a knot to hold a J-frame in the right orientation in my pocket (nothing else in the pocket), works great. I've tried pocket holsters from several prominent manufacturers and had them all come out with the gun at inopportune times. They also make it look...

Here we go again: Bullet Button Ban

The California electorate is overwhelmingly Democratic; RKBA has no chance in the legislative branch. The only progress that can be made will be through the courts.

New Stainless Walther PPK (NOT PPK/S)?

Doesn't S&W also offer the PPK in carbon steel?

Why do manufacturers make underpenetrating loads for defense?

Yup. Not everyone subscribes to the 12” minimum theory. And there are plenty of 12+” loads on the market for people who do, so what is the problem?

Deal reached in Tennessee woman's NYC gun arrest ...

Right, so officially the ACLU is still anti-gun.

Deal reached in Tennessee woman's NYC gun arrest ...

Funny, when I go to the ACLU's website I find this: http://www.aclu.org/blog/organization-news-and-highlights/heller-decision-and-second-amendment Can you point me to their official statement that they now recognize an individual right to arms? TIA.

    Question about IWB holsters...

Depends on the holster/pants/gun combo. I've carried airweight J-frames and a Kahr CW9 in FIST clip-on IWB holsters with no problems.
