    IMR Enduron Powders

Having just started researching powders for 223 and 308 and having just received the latest Hodgdon 2016 Annual Manual, I decided to choose 4166 over 4064 for 223/308 loads. The Annual Manual also has some good articles which cover some of the Enduron Powders and has plenty of useful load data...

Where are reloading components available (Not a Discussion Thread)

this is the note I got while browsing powders at Midway, which makes it 19.99 hazmat + 9.99 shipping to equal ~$30... Attention! Please note, powder ships separately. $19.99 Haz Mat plus $9.99 Shipping fees apply. Powder cannot be returned, 48 lb max, ground freight only, adult signature...

    AA #9 w/.357 Magnum Nosler 158's.

No problem, Crashbox. This thread is very interesting. AA#9 is my next 357 test load, so the info here is welcome. Already have a lbs of #9 and hope to work up these loads in the near future. Thanks for the research you've provided from QL.

    AA #9 w/.357 Magnum Nosler 158's.

First off, I'm fairly new to .357 mag, so I haven't loaded much for this caliber. In fact, only 2400, at this point, which I found very light for a magnum (still working on that loading). But , I do have a box of Nosler 44841 and did some measurements. Your findings are very close to what I...

    Imr 4227

I just recently bought 1# of 300 MP but have not yet worked up any loads. I'm quite new to 357mag and have just started to load for it with 2400. The only thing I've heard and read about 300 MP is that it is temperature sensitive.

Great to get further 45Auto results. I happen to be in a 45Auto loading frenzy with 700X, Bullseye, Titegroup, WST and AA#2. I'll add BE-86 to the regime and compare test results. Thanks for the update, Paul. csw

Took some 38Spl test loads to the range earlier this month (sorry, no chrono data). Charges 4.6, 4.8, 5.0, COL 1.440, fired from a S&W Model 66 at 10 yards. XTreme 158gn Plated SWC Starline brass CCI SP No. 500 Alliant BE-86 4.6 was the least accurate and there was a little residue. Very...

    Lee Classic Turret press

rmcelwee, good that Lee has responded so quickly. Good luck. Hope it's just an adjustment issue. Once solved, enjoy loading. The Lee Classic Turret is a great press for the money and it sounds like you got a real good deal.

It probably is the indexing. Even if you don't think it is, check the video as mentioned and just make sure. Mine did the same thing and it will every so often gets off by just a hair and will catch the edge of the case mouth. The video shows how to remedy the issue, quick and easy.

    Lee Classic Turret press

I think I ended up spraying my Pro AD a second time (and drying). HP38 continued to stick in the area close to that wiper, but 2nd spraying worked wonders. I was getting +/-0.5 gn on every throw. I gave up after a dozen throws. Then I read about the Static Guard. I was happily surprised at the...

    Lee Classic Turret press

GBExpat, after reading a post, either on this thread or somewhere else, I solved my "static nightmare" with my Pro Auto-Disk with a simple spray of Static Guard. A quick shot into the mouth of the hooper from about 12" away and let it dry. Running consistent drops now. YMMV.

toprudder Just wanted to thank you for the 38spl (as well as the 45acp 200gn HP) load tests. Been following this thread since its inception and yours is the only 38spl posts I could find. (If there are others, I must have missed them.) I just bought a S&W Model 66 w/4" bbl and really needed...

Thanks everyone, for your input. After reading through your post, I may have to reconsider ofb other than my own. But it will be a while before I ware out what I have.

    Xtreme Brass

I get that. I agree, they are a good company. I've bought a whole lot of their bullets and ammo. Still, I just feel too new at reloading to be 100% confident I wouldn't miss a bad case along the way.

    Xtreme Brass

As I've said, I'm quite happy with Starline, but IF Xtreme is reselling New Starline brass (that, perhaps, they're buying at bulk prices), then the saving could be significant. Xtreme is selling New 9mm brass $119.00 / 1000 (Deal of the Day $107.00 / 1000)...
