    What is "pro-gun" anyways?

There are people who advocate responsible gun ownership and there are people who make the rest of us look bad. You decide what's responsible and which gun owners make the rest of us look bad.

    I've rediscovered proper technique.

I practice different styles of shooting. Slow for accuracy. Fast, just find the front sight and the target. And reloads (2-3 bullets per mag just practice manipulation). The constants are: stance, grip (as much flesh on the weapon as possible), trigger pull, have fun.

somebody clue me in on the Cobra guns..

CDNN always has guns priced under $300 and they are quality! The Turkish beretta clones rock (paid about $300 for mine). They have really good deals, check it out.

Fancy hand guns vs. plain ones

My 627 Peformance Center has never seen a holster. But, if I lived in a world where I could freely open carry, it'd be the one :)

The handy to carry rifles ; post your pics

Not mine, but similar. In .40, and 2 glock mags. It's pretty handy.

Lost interest in AKs and ARs

Yeah, AR has it's place, but I'd rather have a CZ scout, or a PSL at this point.

.357 vs ar-15 for general hunting and shooting.

You could always pick up a Ruger GP-100 and a Mosin Nagant for under $800 and still have money left over for 440 rounds of 7.62x54R :)

    what glue for revolver stocks?

PC-7, JB Weld, if you want to use clear epoxy its up to you. They make some epoxies just for wood. Just get on Amazon and see what they have, filter by stars. You can't really go too wrong.

    1911 front strap?

The 1911 design is so ubiquitous I just don't see why anybody would move the locations of the grip screws. The hogue/pearce wrap around grip are rubber so they'll stretch a bit.

    Favorite 9mm handgun

CZ's SP-01 is pretty pimp right out of the box. But my favorite is my $299 Turkish Beretta Clone. It's cost $299 and hasn't missed a beat.

    What revolver would you get????

627 Performance Center, if not a Ruger GP-100 and reloading tools :)

    What hand cannon?

.454 Ruger Super Redhawk. Ruger's are dump truck tough, .454 is easy to reload and you can shoot cast bullets just use gas checks to minimize leading.

    Favorite .45

My S&W 1911 if we're talking .45 Auto. Honestly, the only weapon I buy in .45 ACP anymore are 1911's. I don't believe the the .45 out performs the .40 when you factor in capacity. If we're just talking .45, well then my .454 Super Redhawk would get the vote :)

Concealment garment/vest for CCW and IDPA?

I like vests when the weather is cold. Columbia makes a very nice duck shell.

What's Your Real CCW?/Mr. Colion Noir

    627 Peformance Center...haha j/k. Glock 33 with a "glock clip" for holster.

Best CCW pistol for newbie female

I gave my ex a SP101 and she was drilling the center out at 12 yards with .357 loads on her first time ever shooting. Go shoot a bunch of guns and see which one suits you best. There are plenty of ranges that offer rentals. I like the SP101, it's rugged 5 shots, 38/357 and requires little...

What is "good" for handgun groups?

Depends on what you're shooting for. Develop good fundamentals, then increase rate of fire from there while practicing reloading and weapon manipulation.

Soft strikes with PPS-43 -- Looking for a compatible replacement pin

Get one machined, but I would check the spring as well as if there's any crud or protrusions keeping the pin from fully extending.

    GP 100 or SP 101

Both! The SP101 is a great CCW weapon, I went to a Glock 33 for more capacity but the SP101 was a pleasure. I gave it to my ex-girlfriend, because she needed a good weapon. I don't want to add anymore to my collection but if it were a pistol it would be the GP100. I have glocks, berettas...

    Fencing vs "real world"

Doesn't matter what he does. As long as he does something and does it well and does it often.
