Serious rifle help needed (Savage110 .308)

Ended up scrapping the Bushnell and got a Nikon Prostaff. After sighting in, all shots after were on target, no stringing, so as of right now hopefully that was the problem.

Saiga Sporter rifle - How are they?

I own a .223 and I love the thing. Post above me asked how different ammo runs thru it. Well, mine eats anything and mostly eats steel cased. I've even done the unthinkable by shooting some steel cased and followed it with brass right after and she went bang everytime. I wanted the...

Serious rifle help needed (Savage110 .308)

Thanks for all the replies. i have checked to make sure everything was tight and secure and they are. I'm glad someone asked about if anyone else has shot it, (I was starting to think that maybe it was me). My son has shot it also, and if you put our 2 shots each together they made a pretty...

Serious rifle help needed (Savage110 .308)

Thanks for all the replies. It does have the Accu-trigger. The only thing I guess that is good is that atleast all shots that are moving are moving high-left mostly. I'm going to purchase a better scope and bases and go from there.

Serious rifle help needed (Savage110 .308)

Basics: I have a Savage 110 Bolt-action in .308 that came with a Bushnell scope that I got a Wally World (package deal). Shooting Federal 150gr. Shotting from sandbag. I got it last year and tried to sight it in. Started at 25 yards and put 2 shots 1/2" low but dead center horizontally...

How hard is it to dremel out a Saiga receiver for hi-cap?

Saigas already take Hi cap mags. The mags are a little expensive thou, about $30 for a 30 rounder. Now you could get a bullet guide and install it (many people have done this and they say its pretty easy). If you do this I believe the saigas will take almost all ak mags. Of course some...

    Saiga 12s - Approaching extinction?

The cheapest I saw them for was $499 about 6 months ago. Thought about getting one but didn't. I have also been wondering if they will get more shipments, or if they just aren't going to get them anymore. The one thing that gives me HOPE that they will get more is that I have a Saiga-223...

savage 111 scope pkg vs. savage edge

I second the 111/110. The price on the Edge sounds a little high to me. I've seen them for around $329 +/- . Could have swore I saw them at Wal-mart for $299 non camo thou. I just paid $389 for my Savage 10 .308 with accu-trigger and scope.

How much shooting is TOO much shooting?

HAHA. I've put quite a few rounds thru my AK-47 to the point were I could have used an oven mitt. The front stock was a little warm to say the least. Wasn't glowing (well I really wouldn't have known since I was shooting during the day), But man that gun was hot.

How much shooting is TOO much shooting?

How much shooting is To much shooting, when it comes to heating up the barrels. I have read many, many posts about not letting your rifle heat up to much. Well how much is to much??? I just got a Savage 308 and I love shooting it. Now when i was out, I shot about 22 rounds thru it over a...

Need help deciding which 9mm to get

I need some help deciding which to get. Right now I have a Jennings nine which I bought about 2 years ago. Last year I took it out to shot and could not hit a thing with it, not to mention that it jammed about 8 times during the course of shoting a box of ammo. So the other day I visit a...
