I would load some dummy rounds, no powder or primer, and shorten the OAL to 1.110 or so and if that doesn't work, tighten up the crimp a tad. That worked for me. My original OAL was a little long.

The small rifle primers I was using were S&B. Could be the cups are either harder or thicker or even both. Softer primers like Federal might work ok. Anyway, I found someone who was willing to swap for small pistol and we are both happy.

I just swapped 8000 small rifle for 7000 small pistol primers last week. I had tried to use small rifle in my Glocks but only had about 50% ignition. The cups on the small rifle primers are a tad too hard for a Glock, but seem to work fine in revolvers and some other brand pistols.

It's all I've ever used in 9mm with a variety of bullets. Shot over 5000 Xtreme 124g HP, and even more Hi-Tek coated bullets, most of which I cast and coated myself. Never had any problems with the coated.

In my experience, the G42 works better with full power loads. And it functions really well with the Xtreme 100g FP.

I use a combination of RMR lead along with some range scrap and wheel weights. I throw in a little linotype and a half a bar of lead solder, all in a 40# pot. Makes a great .45acp when Hi-Tek coated and sized to .452. I have not use RMR solely for my bullets.

The Glock Store only sells Glock products, it is not owned by Glock. I don't know who makes them but they are not Glock factory made. Not saying they're not reliable, just not a factory part. The mag part may be a factory part, but the extension is not.

We have Pearce +1 on 20 of our G42 mags. Never had a problem with any of them.

Those are aftermarket and not factory.

I have and carry a G42 daily. I am not aware of any factory +1 or +2 magazine extensions from Glock. I have Pearce +1 on all my G42 magazines. Please point me to where I can find these. I do know there are several manufacturers that make plus extensions for those magazines, but not Glock.
