i have a savage axis in .308 without the accutrigger. i want a better stock, anyone know where a good deal on a good stock can be had?

looking for a good scout scope for a NEF sb2 .30-30. I'm about to look on the vortex website, but I'm partial to them and nikon. any ideas in the 200-500$ range ill listen to. that being said, any pics, stories, or info on the sb2 would be nice too.
