I have to say .303. I imagine you shoot the Enfield more, and good .303 surplus is drying up very quickly. If it were me, I would get set up for that first.

I have to say .357. It is a hell of a round and has proven itself in one shot stop tests. As stated a few times though, shot placement is what it is about. I would rather have 5 shots with a .22 than one with a .357 or .45.

I just ordered a RRA standard A4 20". Thought hard and researched long about a bull. Came to the conclusion that it is not neccesary, unless you are a dedicated benchrest shooter. RRA states that a standard profile barrel will do 1" MOA. Save a little dough, and get the standard. BTW..I ordered...

Have you tried using Easy-Off? It will remove everything with a couple coats. Spray it on, let it sit ( don't let it dry) for 15-20 min.. Rinse with vinegar to neutralize and second rinse with water. Let dry for about an hour and see if another coat is needed. You will have naked wood when done...
