Is FIST holsters a good brand

+1. Been using FIST kydex for years and dealt with them a few times, easy to work with and reasonable.

    little help with my Walther?

SkaerE, I had experimented the same technique years ago with my QA and got similar result. That is "after firing the round, held the trigger back and slowly let it go forward hoping to feel the reset of the trigger". By doing that the trigger seemed stuck and not went forward as it should. I...

Just the opposite here, my local store has the P99c in AS since last Oct, but they still haven't got the QA version yet.

    P99 and Fist #43

Haven't seen the #43 in person, but it seems a bit large. I've used Fist K-1 for P99 for about three years, gone through two of them due to cracks. Overall okay, like the choice of different cants; good for summer carry.

    Opinions on Hakko optics

I'm very satisfied with the BED35, it's reliable and the mount is solid. Sorry I don't have the first hand experience with the Aimpoint clones, the webarm.com carries them with some descriptions. Hope that helps.

I got one, custom made by thin leather for a double stack mag, with a short buttoned flap. Very comfortable and concealable at 8:30 position.

    Docter Red Dots

J.Rhines .... thank you for the info. I'm trying to compare the Docter and Hakko (by the pictures) and choose one for the CX4. C4 .... isn't the JPoint = Optima2000? Agreed that Docter is priced a little expensive, by spending a bit more one can go for the Zeiss Z-point. It seems to me...

I'd like to know the size of the lens. Is it 30mm or less?

    Beretta Storm Range Report

Kentucky Rifle .... this rectangular discreet soft case should work, 32" x 13". An inexpensive version will be a similar case from ACE, about half the price.

    p99 magazine prices

Earl's is still selling them for $35 a piece, same for the last three years. It may not be the best price, but they're genuine factory mags.

    Kahr Full Sized, magazines compatible??

Twoblink .... sorry I don't know the answer, but it seems that both T and K series magazines are the same thickness, but T series seems longer. Are you still in Taipei county or KuoShung -or- back to the States? If you are still over there, any chance to visit some neighboring countries?

    Anyone have any good ideas?

SkaerE .... I'd gone through the same thing in the last two years, but my case was different, I wanted a soft rubbery feeling at the backstrap. I tried Hogue Holdall Jr, just like you I preferred the original front strap and didn't like the finger grooves, plus the palm swell was a bit thick...

What do you not like about the P99?

In fact there is no particular feature that I dislike. However I'd like to see two modificaitons: 1. At the grip where the lower rear edge of trigger guard curves upward to allow a little higher hand grip (a little closer to bore axis), I hope that can curve further upward to allow a higher...

    IWB with Thumbreak??

I would also suggest FIST holsters. Pick an existing leather holster on their website which is close to what you want, call them and request some modifications. Their price is reasonable, and good customer service.

    Beretta Storm Question

Saw some pictures with EOTech on it, kind of a little sitting too high (for me). I'll order a Hakko for mine. Heard that the top rail could be metal instead of plastic .... guess we will find out soon.

Is this price okay? - Sentry safe

900F .... Thanks for the reply. I understand you get what you paid for, and gun safe is no exception. The reason I asked was that day I saw these 2 Sentry safes: 10-gun for $175 and 14-gun for $325, the smaller one is kind of neat due to its slimmer shape, perhaps easier to hide. I agree, such...

Is this price okay? - Sentry safe

Run into a 10-gun Sentry safe, only combination lock, no key lock, with a sales price of $175. Is it a good price or just reasonable?
