    22 Nosler Cartridge

No they don't come and go overnight. But they can get scarce if it's not a popular round. And I can walk into any sporting good store and pick up 223 or 204 Ruger ammo. And I like to be able to do that with any of the calibers I own.

    22 Nosler Cartridge

Hmmmm. Thanks for the data. But it seems if that's all the velocity that can be had with the 22 Nosler, it won't be a much flatter flying trajectory than a 223 with a 20" barrel. And if I'm gonna have a 20" barrel to increase the velocity, I'll probably just got with the 204 Ruger. Even at 20"...

    22 Nosler Cartridge

It definitely has potential. But my other big concern is that I invest into the cartridge and then it flops and there's no ammo or brass available in a year :/

    22 Nosler Cartridge

I'd like to know were Nosler got that data on the 223 velocity. These seems several hundred feet per second slower than all other manufacturers data.

    22 Nosler Cartridge

Nosler is offering their data taken from an 18" 22 Nosler barrel. So maybe they're thinking is the appeal of the same performance of a 24" 223 in a smaller package (6" less of barrel length/weight)

Wally, Do you happen to have a link to the article? I searched around on the internet but couldn't find it.

    22 Nosler Cartridge

A company called ARPerformance is currently designing a midweight 20" CMV 4150 barrel with a 1:8 twist for the 22 Nosler. That's who I'll be going with if I decide to go with this round over the 204. Obviously the 22 Nosler will provide more versatility than the 204, but most of my shots with...

    22 Nosler Cartridge

I reload as well. But I don't want to invest in a new cartridge without suffienct data on how it will perform. If I can add a few inches to my 223 wylde barrel and get similar performance, I don't see the point investing in the 22 Nosler. But if it has more to fifer in the way of ballistics and...

    22 Nosler Cartridge

It definitely caught my attention when I saw the release during SHOT show. I'm not worried about losing 5 rounds of capacity in the mag. My main concern is how much do you actually gain from the 22 Nosler over the 223 and how does it stack up against the 204 Ruger? Will 200-300 FPS really give...

    22 Nosler Cartridge

I hate that it's such a new round with limited data/components available. i'm hoping with time more grains/loads will be developed. As of right now all we have is 55 gr and 77 gr of the Nosler brand. I would love to see the different varieties of bullets that are offered for the 223.

    22 Nosler Cartridge

According to Nosler (see 22nosler.com) the 22 Nosler round was intended to use 6.8 magazines to their full capacity

    22 Nosler Cartridge

Anyone gotten their hands on a 22 Nosler rifle or upper yet? I'm building a varmint/predator gun now and was originally gonna go with a 204 Ruger. But this 22 Nosler has caught my attention. Would love some feedback and real life data if anyone has it.

Why so many negative reviews about ACOG eye relief?

I just purchased my first ACOG (4x32 - TA31F) and I was honestly very hesitant to buy it because of all the negative reviews about the eye relief (almost went with the 3.5x35). Honestly I think the eye relief is perfect. I mounted it near the rear of the rail sections, just over the MBUS, and...

Looking for a Range in the DFW area

Hi everyone. I moved to Fort Worth, Texas recently and I still haven't found a range in the area that will allow shooting past 100 yards. I just bought a new Browning X-Bolt I would like to sight in at 200 yards and take some shots at around 300 if possible. Can anyone tell me of a longer...

    LCR - Which caliber??

How is the recoil of the 327 compared to that of a 9mm? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Why hasn't Ruger offered more in the LCRx line?

Would buy one instantly if they put it out in 327 federal Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Used Glock Prices

This is exactly what I'm talking about. It's ridiculous and I can't imagine anyone would ever buy a gun from these people

    Used Glock Prices

Yeah I've sold a few guns and bought a few guns off of gun trader and I agree it's usually people selling things for an outrageous prices and offering you about 50% of what your for sale gun is worth, but if you ride it out you can usually get a good deal. But I've just noticed while perusing...

    GLock 42

Go with the G42. It is slightly bigger and (negligently) heavier than the BG and LCP, but its reliability and lack of recoil easily beat out the other options. I have shot all 3 and pocket carried the LCP and G42 and the G42 wins hands down.

    Recommend a .380acp

I've tried pocket carrying a Ruger LCP, a Kahr CW380, XDS 9mm, and a Glock 42. My favorite of all them for pocket carry is the Glock 42. It is the most reliable and easiest shooting of the 380's. I now recommend the G42 to anyone looking for a pocket gun ***a pocket holster is a must*** I use a...
