    Looking for a deer rifle for her!

    Deer Rifle Although I own an AR15, I would not want deer with anything smaller than a .243. The 7mm-08 should be a good but consider .260 Remington as well. According to John Wooters, the .308 will do 90% of want the 30-06 will and some of those better.

    I am a fan of the .357 revolver and the .45 auto. In my opinion, you will not go wrong either way. I guess what it boils down to is your preference to revolvers over autos or vice versa.

    You will not be able to justify the purchase of a government model with what you currently have in your possession. If you want one, by all means buy it. I am somewhat of a 1911 junkie as well.
