In my 25 years of being leo, we've never had any problems with our sigs nor glocks.

Sig and hk are identical in every way, except barrel. Glock not so, even though they will probably shoot fine without a change of the follower or ejector.

Recoil springs were the same on the gen 3, but that all changed with the gen4. They are now different.

If in life /death situation, I'm not worried about my hearing. I want what is best going to keep me and my family alive. In the heat of the moment, you will barely hear the shot. The bg will be way more startled :)
