    Bad mags are often the gremlins for 1911 issues. Most oem mags have week springs. Tripp upgrade mag kits can take the mysteries out feed failures. Every Colt 1911 Government I've had ran great right out of the box. My EDC is a Wiley Clapp Government. Sorry you are having problems.

    PPQ Rocks The PPQ is the one to beat. CZs are excellent. I've read that the VP9 is a quality build with a good trigger and a good reset. It's also larger and heavier than the PPQ. You can't go wrong with any of them.
