Anytime shooting a light weight shotgun, recoil magnifies. Not many tactical shotguns don't kick. All I can say, spend the money on a SX3, A400, or a VERSAMAX. Problem solved
Agree, I own 2 XDs 9mm. Neighbor has a .45. U can't easy the slide back forward slowly. Jams every time. Gotta let the slide slam forward on first round. Mag is packed tight, strong spring.
I owned 2 Kel-Tec Sub 2000 (used glock mags). Both in 9mm. I paired them up with a Ruger 10-22 TAKEDOWN. Awsome grab and go bag. Never had an issue with either Kel-Tec. On the flip slide, the bolt extension doesn't like dirt/grime nor to run dry. Shot every bit of 1000+ rounds thru both carbines
On my .50, I use a .45 jag to clean. My jag is one piece with the rod. I only use a .50 bush after I've used a few wet patches (water, Murphy wood soap, driller fluid mix). After cleaned, I run a patch of rig grease
The 870 will hold up as long as you keep it cleaned and oil (won't rust). Now if you abuse it like I did my SM, it will still hold up with cleaning and oil. Great low budget shotgun
