I put 10,500 .45 ACP through my Wilson Combat Classic.
I put a few more .45 ACP through a Wilson CQB and a Nighthawk GRP.
All were reloads with exception of 755 frangible rounds fired at Thunder Ranch.
Clint Smith
I attended Thuner Ranch in August 2007.
Clint Smith very knowledgable and patient.
Direct and to the point.
I highly recommend and hope to attend another class.
San Francisco "Safari"
The SFPD carries a Sig, either a 226 or a 229 depending on what the Range staff issued at the conversion course from the Beretta 96.
Ammo is Federal HP 180 gr.
No, not my idea of fun going on safari with a .40 cal., but is is the SFPD and you use what you can, lucky...
You answered your own question, Protector stainless steel, CQB carbon steel.
Don't know how popular Protector is vs. CQB, some people just do not like a stainless gun.
I like my CQB and would not want to give it up.
Adidas GSG9 Boot
I bought a pair of the generation "2" boot earlier this year.
The boot has a pretty tight fit like an athletic shoe.
I rotate my duty boots so the pair I bought are still in very good shape only time will tell how long the soles last.
Blade-Tech
I've had a Blade-Tech holster for my Wilson CQB for about a year now.
I don't know how long the holster is going to last because it is only a year old.
It fits the gun perfectly and protects the gun very well.
