    Duracoat *pic request*

Here's my main carry gun. I duracoated the cylinder, crane, cylinder release and ejector rod. Didn't do a great job on it, totally rushed it. I wanted to see what it was look like done. I've also done my Walther P22 and a few paintball guns too.

    Cutting down revolvers

I remember (sorta) a magazine article from years ago about a custom gunsmith chopping down S&W revolvers but can't remember the name. It showed a picture of an N frame that was tiny. The frame was near J frame size (or so the article said) and the barrel was about as short as you can go on...

    Visited Gander Mountain Today...

I've been working at a Houston Gander Mountain for the last 3 weeks, back in the gun section. We do have price matching for any local shop with the same gun in stock. Our gunsmiths test fire every used gun, we hear it all day long. Some of the used stuff is a bit high but most of it is a...

I did parts of my M37...the cylinder, cylinder release, ejector rod and crane...they were rusting up riding next to my skin. Worked out well although I want to redo it, I didn't prep the metal very well. enjoy

Just found this on C&S's site Installation Cost: Installation on new Smith &Wesson Revolver On old style Smith & Wesson Revolver ( The old Style Revolver Requires drilling and tapping the two holes that retain the rear sight. $112.00 so they do it, wonder if they machine out a...

Adjustable sights on a non equipped gun?

I don't think it will take much to do...go to S&W's site and look at the profiles of the 64 and 67. I bet they are the same basic frame, just one is machined for an adjustable sight and one is machined for a fixed sight. The main thing I'm looking to do is a bigger rear sight picture. I...

Adjustable sights on a non equipped gun?

Here's what I want to do... Get a 3" barreled model 10 and mill the top of the strap for better sights, like Cylinder and Slides Extreme Duty sights. After looking close at a few guns, I think it's possible. Mill a shallow channel and drill 2 holes. my other choice would be to get a 4"...

    Smith & Wesson N Frame .22 RF ?

I'm dying to try and build one like that. Just need a gun to start on. What I'd really like to do is build a .22RF on an X Frame. How many rounds could you stuff into that size cylinder????

    Crazy S&W idea

I would love to have that done too. Just got one of the no lock 37's and actually thought about swapping the cylinders with my 642 and having a 'smith check to make sure everything is aligned right. Two 2-tones guns...
