Yeah, we had an amazing mast season up I. Northern WI where our property is. Heaviest in the 10 years we've been there. Lots of deer activity in the woods and driveway thanks to a layer of acorns.
I was given a 7400 that wasn't operating reliably. Took it apart gave it a deep clean and repaired a cracked gas port nipple(?).
Been functioning great since. Have not had a single malfunction or jam since. Pretty accurate and harvests deer.
I also feed it moderate handloads. Figure no...
Was fortunate to get one in the freezer 4 days into archery/crossbow season. Came in right before sundown. Was a really exciting ground hunt. Hunting our super thick cedar wetlands. She came in to less than 5 yards. Crazy fun evening.
Good luck and Safe hunting all!
Seen two does with twins on our place in Egg Harbor. Good number of singletons too. DNR giving 4 bonus antleress tags thus season and extend antleressbow season to January 31st in this zone. That said 3.5 days into bow season without a deer sighting. LOL!!!!

Wel that would explain the lack of mass shootings there. And yes, I understand knife armed attackers can kill multiple people. But can't help but wonder if the Brits and other less gun loving culture countries are on to something.
Also, to be clear I am pro 2a, avid hunter that loves to...
Sucks the Brits face so many gun restrictions. Gotta wonder it that has contributed to the low rate of gun violence there? Or the Brits are just less crazy and violent than us Americans?

I appreciate the whole "we gotta harden the schools like military bases to defend our kids," But is hard to fathom why we aren't questioning why we are the only civilized nation that experiences regular school/mass shootings. Seems we normalize it and throw "thoughts and prayers". I've loved...
