SC Senate Passes Gun Ban for Domestic Violence Offenders

Yep! But...........what you're stating is something called common sense, and it too has been outlawed for a while now.

AL: State Bill to Ban Guns in Churches

It's pretty amazing, isn't it? I mean, the ONE place (supposedly) filled with good , law abiding, moral people, and the gument wants to "protect" them from each other! At our (non denominational) church, the head pastor, assistant pastors, deacons, some members (including my wife), and even the...

    Reasons Loss of Gun Rights

It gets worse. I can't post a link here, but Google; "Family Violence in America: The Truth About Domestict Violence and Child Abuse".......it's a PDF, and quite long, but very eye opening for those who haven't experienced it (most all MEN who've been divorced). Another good read is on a...

I would also like to know exactly what the pinch frame is. Thank you.

    Civil Liberties Restoration

I TOTALLY understand the opinions (most) everyone who's posted so far. And to a large extent, I agree (even for the ones I disagree with, I mostly see why you believe the way you do, and don't fault you for it). BUT!!!! The big issue here is freedom (not who deserves it or not). To those...

    Civil Liberties Restoration

Your missing the point. Those who worry about illegally possessing a gun "adding time to their sentence", shouldn't be out the first place. I'll say it again, if you can't be trusted to defend your own life, then you shouldn't be in society. And if you're illegally stripped of your 2A rights...

    Civil Liberties Restoration

I agree that the current legal system is a very real threat to our freedoms and safety. I mostly agree with the whole post really, but I urge you to consider exactly what the government actually considers a "violent crime". Other than an actual violent crime (which usually has ample...

    Civil Liberties Restoration

Very libertarian minded here also. I get it when you say "...not allowing them to legally own a firearm". But, the premise is wrong....it's a catch-22...only the LAW ABIDING are going to care about legality in the first place. The criminal it's just that, a criminal, and he will obtain his...

    Is This Gap Safe?

That's also an option, but now the cylinder won't even turn while cocking (bad hand I guess). May still look into it, thanks for info.

    This is true, thanks!

    Another "what if" question....

I considered the barrel smoke thing also, but since I only use real black powder, there's usually much smoke you can't tell where coming from! I think from now on, as long as the recoil feels consistent, I'll just shoot on. But any less recoil and I'll be running my arrow shaft down the barrel...

    Civil Liberties Restoration

"Deep South", I think we're on the same page (just different paragraphs maybe :-)). I agree with your last comment and personally know several people (one I still call a good friend), who have experienced the very real problem of "2nd class citizenry". He's a friend from back in our wild days...

    Civil Liberties Restoration

Ok......now I finally see where you're coming from. In my "panic" to see freedom restored to the US, I'm sometimes very jaded to supposed opposition when trying to make an argument......... my bad. I guess you're saying SINCE criminals are being released early, or unduly (still criminal...

    Civil Liberties Restoration

No no no! I don't want HIM having gun rights, HE shouldn't be here if he did in fact commit cold blooded murder...(and killing someone in their sleep to by drugs is pretty cold).

Thank you, you just made my point! He shouldn't be "walking around" at all.

    Civil Liberties Restoration

Amen brother! It always goes back to the simple choice (or decision in a parole boards' case),.... 1- free 2-bound

    Civil Liberties Restoration

No in all of these situations. That goes back to my assertion that if you can't be trusted to defend your own life, then you shouldn't be a part of society. Pretty simple. As for pedophiles, I have my own suggestions, but your scenario should never come into play in the first place. I TOTALLY...

    MISFIRE!...."better wait 5 seconds!"

Yeah, I had no intentions of a full scale discussion of automatic weapons. As I said, it was "just a thought". BTW, I've seen bp guns "mentioned" in the firearms forums, but I apologize I guess.

    Another "what if" question....

Yep, I think I'll make myself a "ball checker" out of an old carbon arrow shaft! Thanks for sharing.
