    I read that comprehensive lube/rust preventative article. Pretty cool read. Hornadys one shot did well, as did frog lube. I thought hornadys one shot was for reloading though, not rust prevention. Are people using one shot as a rust protector?

    Do small base dies bump the shoulder back further than full length dies, as well as sizing the shoulder smaller too? Sorry if that's a dumb question, I'm new. :)

    Walkalong, will a bad die induce runout during sizing or seating? Or can a subpar die induce runout on both steps? Which step usually induces the runout? Or do you just check the concentricity after both steps?

    Will classic lee loader be good enough for my 45-70 simple needs

    Don't do it I'd say a single stage press would be much better and easier on you. I got the lee anniversary kit, it cost a little over one Benjamin and I pretty much have all I need to get started minus dies, primers, powder and bullets. I'm very pleased. :)
