Blue Dot or Unique to get to 1100fps with a Missouri cast 405 Hytek. Have seen it on a Texas Heart shot plow clear thru a buck stern to stem, or visa-versa. Little recoil at all. I've never recovered a cast 405 to see if they ever expand. Already .459, anyone really care?

Boom Boom, need to correct myself, they are cast 95gr SWC. I've used 2.0gr, 2.2 gr and 2.5 gr of Trail Boss. Loaded them several years ago, I know the 2.5gr loads were not compressed, but not sure of the % fill. Accurate and soft shooting in my very old Colt.
