    Questions about moly coating

I think you may be onto something with "moly" being a misused term. It seems like everyone calls it moly if it's something other than lead or fmj. We have tested the targets with powder coated bullets and they work about 10% of the time. Thank you for checking, I really appreciate it! At this...

    Questions about moly coating

Interesting, thanks for checking with the VOM. According to wikipedia, molybdenum disulfide is used in applications that require electrical conductivity. Yet yours is not conductive. Hmmm... Also, I ran into a shooter at an event that claimed to be shooting "moly" bullets, I measured them with...

    Questions about moly coating

Thanks, appreciate the input! I'd still like to actually test it to make sure. It could be conductive but even the best conductors have some degree of resistance. It was my understanding that most moly-coated bullets were actually FMJ with the coating, but you are saying that it's usually...

    Questions about moly coating

Hi guys, I have some questions about moly coated ammo and I hope you guys can help. We make targets that sense bullet hits electronically, but in order to work it must be an electrically conductive projectile. Typically lead or copper. If you use something non-conductive such as nylon jacketed...

Just wanted to check in and post our latest video:

Looking for feedback on digital reactive targets

You can use it in manual mode if you someone to manually toggle each target up and down. Or you can program a scenario that will make them pop up at specific times, or at random intervals. We have a full-time software developer on our team, so if you have a specific request for a feature on the...

Looking for feedback on digital reactive targets

Thanks for the kind words! The auto-reset steel poppers look like fun, but they can't "surprise" you like our system does. It just comes back up every time you shoot it. Our system can be set to "random" so you don't know which target will pop up, or when.

Looking for feedback on digital reactive targets

Here is a better screenshot of the app: As you can see, it displays whether the target is up or down, and how many shots have accrued in each zone of each target. It also displays the battery life, and the distance to each target. Also you can drag and drop the targets on the screen, so...

Looking for feedback on digital reactive targets

Thanks, the video was just a test shoot, so we didn't put much effort into explaining the system or properly demonstrating it. We are going to be releasing more videos soon that will explain all of that. You can read all about how it works here...

Looking for feedback on digital reactive targets

Hey everyone! First post here, and I hope I'm not breaking any rules by posting this, but I'm looking for feedback on a new target idea. But first let me introduce myself. My name is Chip, and I've been a supporter of gun rights my whole life. Some of you may know me from other forums under...
