270 win. It’s boring and useless to me living in Ohio but it was the cal of the first rifle I bought. Also the only caliber I reload for. 110 gr. V max over some 760 Win ball powder…
You can’t hunt them in Ohio but I seen a flock of 30 or so today in a bean stubble field behind my house. Never seen one before. Flew off about a hour later when I was outside unloading some firewood. The sound they made when they took off was kinda cool. Reminded of a tree frog type noise.
I got a box that I shot one out of... the brass swelled and had to use a hammer and wood dowel rod to beat out... haven’t had a problem with plastic hulls out of the same gun
Defiantly 9mm... 7.62x39 and 12 gauge... was in a local Walmart about a year and half ago to buy diapers walked by the ammo. Guy behind the counter said they had 2 3/4 12 gauge 00 buckshot on sale for 3.50 a box... 25 shells per box.. they didn’t have it out front yet but it was in the back...
I carry my Taurus 85 most days and it’s only 5 shots. I was surprised how accurate a snub could be at 25 yards. 5 shots 5 dead bad guys. Unless there’s 6 of them then I’m in trouble
No I have little ones in the house... I guess if I get in a situation hopefully they will give me time to open my safe. Used to though before the kids.
Ruger Redhawk in 41 mag... it was my grandfathers . Also my Springfield XD 40. just because it was my first centerfire handgun which really got me hooked on shooting handguns
Nothing wrong with the 3 Taurus I own. I’ve been looking to buy a Taurus tracker 357 with a 4 inch barrel. Nothing wrong with a Ruger or smith either. I love my Ruger SRH in 41 mag.
I dig your setup and it’s nice to see you using it as a work tool...Is it more for protection of two legged or four legged creatures and have you used it to fend off either.. also do you switch up the ammo you use depending on where your working
