Has anyone tried "down loading" 7mm mag to the minimum velocity reccommended in the loading manuels? I am thinking about loading some 139 gr bullets down to between 2900 and 3000fps to see how they shoot. Anyone have experience?

I recently bought a Weatherby vanguard with a synthetic stock and it shoots fair. I have floated the barrel to the point that a piece of paper can be pull between the stock and barrel. I have an A bolt and the paper pulls through it "easier." Do I need to sand some more of the stock out?:confused:
