I just traded a Sig 230 for a 642, it just cariies more easily. Took it to the range last night and was very pleased with the recoil and accuracy. At 7-10yds putting them all in a fist sized area was a nice surprise. The Federal 110gr low recoil rounds were particularly accurate. Al

Your point makes sense about the more narrow population of guns that I see, however I am also including guns that people use on the range and are not there to trade or have fixed.

I have a 20, 29, and a 19. I absolutely love the 20 and 29 and merely love the 19 (If that makes any sense). The big guns are accurate, I thought initially they'd be too big, but they are very comfortable and seem to properly fill your hand. I mostly carry the 20 at work and the 29 concealed.

We sell a great deal of it at our range. I has presented few if any problems, burns clean, and appears more consistent shot to shot than some of the other lower priced brands. We don't have near the number of complaints as when shooters are using WW valu-pak amm.

Back in Army Basic 35 years ago some of us routinely worked 500 - 800m with stock sighted 16's. It was a learning process initially, but once we had the feel for it, it was quite repeatable.

I have been able to use standard and mecgar .45 mags in my 10mm delta elite. They feed fine and lock the slide back etc. Have not had one single issue with the .45 mags. They don't feed any better or worse than the 10mm mags do.
