    Self-Defense Ammo for Glock 42

Thanks for this information. I'm currently carrying a Walther PPK which had almost the same barrel length (PPK: 3.3", G42: 3.25"), so this is very useful to me. If you ever have the opportunity, I'd love to see a test of the Hornady XTP, American Gunner or Custom.

    Self-Defense Ammo for Glock 42

8.5" in the Ammo Quest test. Some of the prettiest expanded bullets you'll ever see, though.

Is everyone still loving their Ruger Wranglers?

I don't own one, but my wife is quite fond of her 3.75" birdshead. She just put new grips on it.

Beretta 21A or Ruger LCP II?

I had one of the convertibles for a while, and the only reason I got rid of it is because the end of the day, I'm just not a wheelgun guy. Having real sights makes the BW phenomenally accurate for such a small gun. I will say though, that if I was ever going to carry one, I'd carry two. I don't...

Beretta 21A or Ruger LCP II?

I hope you have better luck with it than I've had with mine.

    P32 Failure to Eject

If you were dry firing without snap caps, don't. And as others have said, I would try a different ammo before calling KT. If you do have to call them, they're a pleasure to deal with. I have 2 new P32s, both with build dates in late January. One has been flawless with approx. 200 rounds of...

    Unwelcome visitor

The only venomous snake in New Hampshire is the timber rattlesnake, and there aren't very many of them. That works for me.

    380 Day

I was hoping the PPK would get here by Friday, but it came in today. What a beautiful pistol! It'll be going to the range on Friday. The slide is actually easier to rack than my KelTec P32s, and I imagine the recoil will be tolerable, which is all I'm looking for.

    380 Day

Here are mine, at least as of today. I have a stainless Walther PPK with the black polymer grip on order that I hope will be in by the end of the week.

Middle aged Kel-Tec P32 weird extraction problem.

I'm a new P32 owner, and while I know what rimlock is and what causes it, I haven't experienced it, because I've only been using S&B FMJ. How hard is it to clear this malfunction? I'm guessing a tap-rack-bang isn't going to work, but does dropping the mag and pulling the top round out work, or...

Middle aged Kel-Tec P32 weird extraction problem.

Thank, guys. Much appreciated. Interesting though that the 1bad69.com link is working. It was dead a few days ago.

Middle aged Kel-Tec P32 weird extraction problem.

Do you still have the flyer wire instructions? I'm a new P32 owner, and the links I've been able to find are dead.

.380 ACP the Red Haired Stepchild?

If you're healthy, it shoots fine, and fairly accurate for what it is. If you have bad arthritis, it sucks. I had 2, and was pretty fond of them, but I reached a point where they were too painful to shoot. They're gone now, and it's really too bad.

Is Whether Or Not You Can Legally Carry The Deciding Factor On Where You Go?

I carry everywhere that isn't actually illegal, and since "No guns allowed" signs don't have the force of law in my state, that means most businesses. I have a small NPE carry pistol for those occasions, but if I'm ever made and asked to leave, I will do so. Hasn't happened yet, and I expect it...

Anyone keep a yearly round count?

I've been keeping a log since I started carrying. Nothing fancy, just the gun, ammo brand(s), round count, and any failures. When I get home, it goes into a OneNote table. I have found the information useful on occasion.

    Ruger Security 380 vs S&W EZ 380

I have both of these. Both pistols are soft shooting, but the P365-380 is a bit more comfortable because of its larger size. They both have excellent sights and shoot very well. I'm 70 years old with bad eyes, arthritis in both thumbs and right wrist, and just an average shooter, but I can put...

    Am I just delusional

It's not the most effective caliber, but it's far from nothing, especially if you can shoot it well.

    Snappy .380 pistols

FYI, I came across these tonight. I've never purchased anything from Shapeways before, but last year when I called SIG asking if I could get pinky extension floorplates for my flat base P365 mags, they recommended these guys. I just bought a pair of these...

    Snappy .380 pistols

Tactical Development makes one. If you look at the picture I posted of the two pistols, the mag in the lower right is a 10-rounder with the Tactical Development floorplate. Unfortunately, they're out of stock at the moment. I signed up to be notified when they're back in stock, but who knows...

    Snappy .380 pistols

They're .380 mags. They come with 2 different floorplates to accommodate either the standard or X-length grip module. Here's a 10 and a 12. https://www.sigsauer.com/p365-micro-compact-12rd-380-auto-magazine.html
