Go with a 1-8 or 1-7 inch twist, I'd recommend a match grade barrel as they can be quite capable and those twists will shoot 55-77gr just fine

I use TAC as well, as I've got a decent amount. My best loads are Varget for .223/5.56 but its always seemingly harder to come by

Uh.... Well this is among the many reasons all my pistols have at least one holster, and are always holstered. Moms been carring a 9mm for a decade+ in her purse and no **** ups since and she's not the best of shooters

Mine did well minute of iron site mostly w/ WWB and Blazer aluminum. Damn I wish I'd kept it, but that's before AWB ended in 04 I got tons of Glock and KCI Glock mags that could feed it and a RDS or RMR would be fun

I regret letting my Sub 2000 in 9mm go, took Glock mags and shot well. Used it to get into more AR gear, as the sub was just a fun gun for me at the time.

I've been carrying a side folding auto, usually benchmade or last few years a Protech, going on 15 years or so now. I like them better than lock liner folders for sure.

Stigma around FFL's selling Hi Points and buyers purchasing them is not to be underestimated.

My carry guns are usually Glocks or a Kahr PM9 .... so I'm guessing I'd do alright with it
