I really wouldn't classify that as a light field load. It is 3 1/4 Dram 1 1/8oz of #6 shot Winchester, Remington, and Rio have similar loads. You can view them on there respetive websites.

Sounds like the rifle doesn't like that ammo, for what ever reason. When you go against the gun manufacturers ammo reccomendations, things tend to not go too well.

Just be thankful they didn't lose it. I sent a shotgun there for repair, and it took them three weeks after they received it to find it. BTW, it was still broke when I got it back 6 weeks after I shipped it.

I would feel fine with a 6.5X55 Swede, 260 Rem, 25-06, 7mm-08. Best ammo selection will be with the 25-06, and 7mm-08. Good luck
