    Primers in or out?

I tumble with the primers in for my hand gun brass and then this gets reloaded. Range pick up brass for the ar gets wet cleaned then resized on the app press then tumbled in walnut to remove lube. If it's 223 from my bolt gun it gets a quick dry tumble primers in then to the app.

    Lee Deluxe APP

Just an update on my APP. I received my package from Midway last weekend and set everything up on Monday. It wasn't much to do and it went well. I set it up for 223 and used the 4 tube feeder and coalater. I had 2 or 3 stuck cases on my first run through and I believe it is because I was...

    Lee Deluxe APP

GW that looks like it works well! Now why didn't Lee think of that? Seems like a simple enough modification to their tray. Some day I may have to get a 3d printer but I have so much to do and learn already! Thank you for the video. Mark

    Lee Deluxe APP

I have my order at Midway ready to go, free shipping. I did some more research yesterday so I think I have what I need plus I watched Johnny's Reloading Bench last night on YouTube which was very helpful. Enjoy the weekend. Mark

    Lee Deluxe APP

Hi everyone, I am considering buying the App to process 5.56/223 brass. I would like to decap and resize, so what else would I need ? I have the dies. I will get the breech lock bushings because it looks like I need those. Is the case feeder and coalator a good idea? Any thing else? Thanks for...

    Berry's plated hbwc .38 cal.

Hey Walkalong, I put together a round of .38 special with 4 grns of Unique and the 148 grn hbwc. OAL at 1.240 and it fits in my cylinder but I have to push it in past the bulge in the middle of the case where the end of the bullet ends. Is that ok you think?

    Berry's plated hbwc .38 cal.

From what I have been reading on the internet it is a fairly popular bullet with a nice price. I wish Berry's would publish specific data for their bullets and make it a little easier for the load developers. I know they don't want any lawsuits but they can include a warning to proceed at your...

    Berry's plated hbwc .38 cal.

I am going to load a few up with 4 grns of Unique at 1.240 OAL and see how they shoot. This should be a safe starting point. I'll take it from there. Thanks again for the input and I'm sure I am going to have many more questions as I go along.

    Berry's plated hbwc .38 cal.

Wouldn't the hollow base and plating throw the data off though? And what about the OAL? I am willing to try different loads but I also want to do it safely. I find reloading to be enjoyable and satisfying but a little frustrating too! Thanks for the reply X-Ring.

    Berry's plated hbwc .38 cal.

Thanks walkalong for the help. I have found data for the exact bullet but different powder and also data for Unique powder but not the same bullet. Perhaps I will have to buy a different powder. I recently purchased a .357 Blackhawk with a 6.5 inch barrel and have been shooting paper with...

    Berry's plated hbwc .38 cal.

I am hoping for some reloading info for .38 special with Berry's plated hbwc using unique powder. The Unique data center only gives me a listing for 158 grn. lead bullet. I have only been reloading for a short time. I have the Lymans 49th manual but only lead listings here also. Berry's site...
