    PSA Resurrecting the STG-44

Ye gadz..no. I used to own an orginal. In typical German fashion, they took what is a simple concept..one already done millions of times over with the M1 Garand and Soviet SVD, and applied the all too typical German tendency to over complicate the living crap out of it. Ever try field...

    Wayne LaPierre is resigning.

No. Every 3 years, subject to the the vote of the general membership. This executive fir life is just crap.

    Wayne LaPierre is resigning.

I'll second this. I too, work on a closed shop state. While not even close to perfect, I know I'm better off with the union..in this particular line of work...than without it. Simply look at simular jobs in non union plants and see how low wages, and horrible rules and working conditions. I...

    Power measure for stick powders

Nobody makes one that works for stick powder, AND can be mounted to a press..forget about one being case activated on top. Not for stick. The only one that I've found so far is the Cheapo Lee perfect..and while it can be jury rigged to a press..it's so dang flimsy I'm not sure I want to. I...

LPVO 1-8x that's not made in SE Asia?

I've had to send three Vortex scopes back so far. Two were bad right out of the box, the 3rd was also, but I was stubborn and in denial that it was busted and it took me beating me head against the wall (lots of wasted ammo) before I admitted to myself it was bunk. All three were quickly and...

    Arken optics.

I can't find single example of Athlon using the shill tactics like Arken does. Athlon does not and never did. I'm not sure about Vortex, since they started pre internet. I doubt they did however. Ya..I'm calling out. You are simply lying.

    Arken optics.

I'm calling you out on your Vortex and Athlon comment. For Athlon..it's complete BS. They haven't done any shady marketing that I can find. Vortex was founded in 1986..well before the internet..so I doubt there's any truth to that accusation either, but alas, I was younger and didn't pay as...

    Arken optics.

Lol..not even close. The record is overwhelming. Did you miss, when he said they offered him free stuff to do a review? Selective memory much? They are STILL pulling the same crap they got busted doing back in 2019. I get, first starting out, you want to get your name out there. But using...

    Arken optics.

Yep, and the mods pulled the post because it was a shill scam post in the first place. Just looking at the main FB accounts of most of the people who commented, most didn't have any activity for years, clearly hacked accounts. The poster himself..last posted anything in 2022. They also just...

    Arken optics.

I'm not going to buy one. I'm just asking do to curiosity. I don't like the company itself because it used shills and paid for fake reviews. That alone, even if their products punched above their price class (judging by responses here..I just call them OK for the money), disqualify them from...

    Arken optics.

I've seen Arken being pushed hard on a couple FB groups, and other forums. All kinds of wild claims..like "just as good as a $2500 for $500", which of coarse is nonsense. I find it very interesting few online retailers and brick and motor stores carry the brand. Also read they got busted...

Building an AR-15 from the ground up

I have a couple rifles with 45 degree back up sites..but otherwise, I don't like the interference with the optics mount, and that problem is compounded fir me even more because I also use brass catchers and I have a mount fir that on each rifle as well. If you are using a LPVO, BU mounting...

Building an AR-15 from the ground up

I don't have a better picture on my phone, and just got to work on the hoot owl...I grab one in the AM. I forget the model number handguard that is..I had to do some searching for it..as it's bigger diameter to accommodate the Bull barrel and gas Block. A standard one was too close to the...

Building an AR-15 from the ground up

I have bi pods on most of my ARs. I like bench rifles. I use Mag pul and Harris bi pods. None of the handgaurds flex or interfere in the least. I even have one 24 bull barrel with a Midwest handguard. It's a HEAVY mother, and has a Bi pod. Zero flex issues.

Building an AR-15 from the ground up

That's one of the differences. The PSA and BCM branded handguards both have the same barrel nut..which is nice because the tool that came with the BCM got used to undo the nut of the PSA fir a barrel upgrade. The Midwest branded ones also have the same barrel nut.albeit different from the...

Building an AR-15 from the ground up

Lool..ya..Reddit..always a reliable source. Gunheads are almost as bad as liberals to deal with on online arguments. It invariably always ends up someone screaming "source!"..it gets old. I know what I know. This little handguard topic has also been discussed at length on these forums not...

Building an AR-15 from the ground up

It doesn't. The only thing that too much flex could do is touch the gas block...but that highly unlikely

You sure about that? You'd better recheck your premise.
