58 cal mininie as slugs in 24 ga shotgun
Hubel.... I have an O/U 24 ga American Silver II, and been thinking about an 58 cal minnie ball in the 2 1/2" chedite plastic for a close range deer load.

Don't want to hi-jack thread...but was wondering what I can load in a standard
smoothbore shotgun barrel...I have an 24 Ga O/U and the 2 1/'2" brass hulls,..would like to hunt deer with it this fall.

Because my groups were still 6" and larger, I noticed that the crown had not been properly finished by Smith. Even as third owner of gun they sent me a pre-paid mailer to do a target crown on barrel, and while gun was in I asked them to lighten or smooth up trigger pull... all at no charge ...

Two K 38 M&P's
I have two K38 M&P's as below for dating please....also where can I get a good schematic and parts list for them ? Is the model 10 Sticky here accurate for reassembling mine ? Also I need to re-tap and chase threads...where can I find all the screw specs to re-smith one ?

Update on 3913 Trigger Job...
The springs came in, so I first replaced the Hammer(mainspring) with a 17 #. The factory was 20#. This noticebly reduced the pull, so at least I can set it off without shaking so badly. It dropped from the factory pull of 12 1/4# to 6 1/2 #'s..a nice differnece...

Picked up a like new Smith Mdl 3913 and the pull is rather heavy, especially for my daughter. Does anyone know the home-smiths routine fro lightening polishing and substituting springs fro this series? Is there a post somehwhere that would help me out ?
