I've been really happy with my Romeo 5. I've had it for about a year, and it's been running great. The shake awake feature also works very fast on it. With some of my of my other red dots, the shake awake won't kick on unless I smack the side of the rifle, but the Romeo 5 turns on as soon as I...
I'd check out the Sig Romeo 5. The battery life is super long, and it has an auto on/ auto off feature that helps save the battery. It's only a little over 100 bucks too.
I really love my Romeo 5... I have quite a few budget red dot sights, and the quality on it is pretty solid. I also really like the auto on/auto off feature. Hope this helps you out!
I have seen a lot of them that are pretty expensive at gun shows. I bought my Garand from the CMP a few years ago, and it was well under a thousand. So i'd say check them out and see what they're going for now.
I'm a big fan of the Primary Arms 1-6. Love the ACSS reticle, and I think the glass is pretty good for the price. It also has illumination which I like.
Take a look at the Primary Arms 1-6x scope... The reticle (ACSS) is awesome and can be used for fast shooting up close and has a BDC to range out further when you need to. It also has pretty good glass for the money because it comes in under $300. I've been very happy with mine.
I like both, but I prefer striker fire because of the consistent pull every time without having to work a manual safety... So my favorite guns to shoot are probably my Glock 34 and M&P9. But that being said, I enjoy taking the Sig P229 and CZ SP-01 out to the range as well!
The Colt LE6920 is a fantastic gun. If you're looking for an optic, I'd look at the Holosun HS503C. It has great battery life, solar power to keep it running, and a circle dot reticle. Mine's been awesome.
Both are really cool rifles, but I would go with a Garand. Check out the CMP and see what you can find... I got mine from them a few years ago, so I don't know what you'll be able to find right now. Love the cartridge too. haha 30.06 really hits like a hammer to me because I mostly shoot 5.56.
I've got some Magpuls, Some C-products Stainless Steels, and some Troy Battlemags and I haven't had problems with any of them. The Magpuls are probably my favorite though.
I have a couple Holosuns and a Truglo Tru Tec... All three are very high quality, and I've had nothing but good luck with them. Long battery life and pretty high quality for the money.
Take a look at Holosun red dots... My personal favorite is the Holosun HS503C because it has long battery life, solar power, and a circle dot reticle. Mine has been fantastic. Good luck!
I'm a big fan of red dots and scopes, but if I had to choose one, I'd probably go with a red dot. I just find them a little easier to use, and I'm a big fan of Holosuns because they're a lot of red dot for the money!
