    Break barrel scope

I have wondered when the Made In "W Germany" became just Made In "Germany"... according to the Weihrauch website, my serial number gives me a date of being manufactured between 1985-1991... and Google tells me that the unification of East and West Germany was October 3, 1990. My HW77-K does say...

    Air pistol for winter practice

The P17 looks a lot like the P3... but a big price difference... from doing some looking, it looks like the P17 is made in China from stamped metal, where the P3 is made in Germany from machined metal. I would think the P3 would be much better quality.

    Air pistol for winter practice

I have a Beeman P3 (Weihrauch HW40) that is a single stroke pneumatic that I really like... nice adjustable trigger too... I have a laser mounted on mine where I can still see the open sights... makes for some fun shooting ! Pyramyd Air has them for around $230... similar to a few other places...

    Springers and sweat

Beeman ain't what they use to be... Ballistol has been around for a long time... just not readily available in the USA. I bet Doc Beeman would approve of using it today... Pyramyd Air's Tom Gaylord, The Godfather of Airguns, highly recommends it. Some interesting YouTube videos of endorsers...

Air rifle for raccoon? Needs to be quiet

Well to me, a well-tuned springer is pretty quiet... usually all you hear is a "thunk"... which you actually feel more than you hear when shooting it. I would have no problem shooting a raccoon with my Beeman R1... but I did customize it some, with a Maccari .22 TK (short) barrel and full power...

Adult sized stock for the Daisy Red Ryder!

I know this is an old post, but this topic is how I found this forum. I just bought and received my Chief AJ stock and steel hoop lever for the Daisy Red Ryder that I bought last month... finishing the stock now with some Home Depot Varathane Stain... they don't sell Min-Wax any longer... this...

    Break barrel scope

Yeah, mine are all made in Japan too ! I've been airgunning since 1989 when I bought my first airgun... a spring piston Beeman FX-2 from a local gunshop that was Beeman dealer... fell in love with airguns, while buying firearms... even though I have plenty of room at home to shoot outdoors with...

    Break barrel scope

A late post, but I just found this forum... Have to agree with BilliamB. on the Bushnell Trophy scopes 4x12-40mm Model 73-4124 with an Adjustable Objective down to 10 yards... I have three of them... two that I have had for many years, and another that I bought used off eBay, because I don't...

    Springers and sweat

If you haven't tried Ballistol yet, you should... It works great on metal and wood, for cleaning and protections, especially from rust. I have not been able to find it locally, so I ordered a small can to try out online from Amazon... I've been using it to wipe down my air rifles, using a micro...
