My next purchase: This knife made me drool

I don't understand. You looked at it and quickly discerned it's softness? Or were you responding to a different reply? I'll still buy it for $50.

My next purchase: This knife made me drool

I could scare up $50 bucks for the Civilian, but I'm poor. You should be bale to sell it on blade forums without any trouble. How do you know the Civilian is "soft as a butter knife" if it is pristine and never used?

What Gear Do You Always Carry in Your Pockets?

Two pocket knives- Spyderco Endura and a CRKT M16 - and my keys. I used to carry just one knife then figured a spare couldn't hurt. I'll probably end up carrying just one knife.

    Colt Python total production numbers?

I have a reference question from a library patron who wants to know the total production numbers of Colt Pythons. He has a nickeled, 3" barrelled .357. From what I read while searching, many 3" models were alterations from the original configuration. I'm wanting the total production of...

Does anyone have any opinions on this CZ?

Not gaudy enough For an anniversary gun I would expect a bit more decoration and engraving. I like the 25th Anniversary on with that bright mirror-like stainless finish. The gold highlights on black are not as nice as the stainless with gold highlights. But, what do I care? I won't be...

    Whats your favorite compact pistol?

What kind of gun is that Denfoote? Doesn't Denfoote get a different favorite pistol twice every year? Looks like a Walther P-1 No, what I meant was, "Why bother asking Denfoote what the gun is, he'll have a new favorite in six months." I wish I had a new favorite gun every six months.

What small arms does a Bradley IFV crew use?

This has been the most interesting and informational thread I have read online in months. I'm surprised.

    Whats your favorite compact pistol?

Before we left Phoenix I carried a CZ PCR. But, I really needed an IWB holster rather than the paddle one I still have.

    Whats your favorite compact pistol?

You left out what maybe the most carried pistol in the US. The P-3AT. I bet the G26, G23, or G19 are much more widely carried than a newer model .380. I myself have no carry option in Wisconsin. Maybe I should carry some rocks or marbles around in my pocket?

    CZ 75 Compact questions

CDNN does have them I just checked the CDNN website. They do have Mec-Gar compact 14 rounders now, for $17.99. First time I have seen any standard capacity CZ magazines there.

    CZ 75 Compact questions

The CZ .40 that was the result of a partnership with Colt was really neat. had a 1911 still grip angle and, I think, a single stack magazine. What was the model number of that one? CZ40? Or, was it the 40P?

    CZ 75 Compact questions

PCR is great I've had a PCR and used it as a carry gun when I lived in Arizona. The PCR is a great pistol. I have one 14 round magazine that I used when the gun was holstered. The 14 rounders are difficult to find but 16 rounders are not and would be good spares.

Latest in the Front Sight wars

I attended the half day subgun course in 2000 or 2001. Ever since then I have been getting mailers from Front Sight. The mail has even followed me from AZ to WI. Each time I get the latest mailing I think, "That Ponzi scheme is still working?" when I read about the "great deals" and "one...

GLTB Shooters! Time to plan for PRIDE

Yeah, carts like that. I've seen metal carts that are likely lighter and easier to wheel around than those SASS wooden carts. The wooden ones look durable though, according to this photo: http://www.cartrightguncarts.com/images/bigskycart3.jpg You could also just get a generic...

GLTB Shooters! Time to plan for PRIDE

Display on a float? If you have a float you could use a bunch of rifle racks. That wouldn't be brandishing. If a float is not an option, what about some handcarts like shooters people use when traveling station to station in competitions? Marchers would not actually be carrying the...

GLTB Shooters! Time to plan for PRIDE

Good Luck Good luck in getting into the parade and marching while carrying. But, from what I hear about Portland you'll need the luck. That said, your plan sounds solid. Gaining entry into the parade sounds like a tough haul. If you can get your foot in the door and march with only...

Please help CCW effort in Wisconsin

I'll give what I can. Jadecristal: I don't blame you for being down on the process. I've only been here a year and only started trying to get the bill passed when I called and emailed in favour of the override. I have two young kids and very little personal time to spare but will give what...
