Would the 223 be a viable deer cartridge at this range i would use heavier constructed bullets but ive several deer take a heart shot from a 270win and still manage to run 30+ yards so im hesitant.

I recently pulled the trigger (pun intended) and started the process of getting my suppressors and the gun that I want to put it on is a Browning X- Bolt Stainless Hunter but the barrel is fairly thin not exactly “pencil thin”.

The rifle without the bipod is doing dime sized 5 shot groups off the bench @100 i guess ill try with the bipod and see the barrel does touch the stock fyi with weight on the bipod
