One for sale http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=222538037
That said, I never even saw one of these before I read your post. I have handled and owned a lot of humpback guns over the years.
As to making one....
2 options
1. keep regular forearm. Easy to do. An 1100/870...
Sorry for jumping in a little late on this one but I will share my experience with you. I started my son on the shot gun when he turned 11. He had shot 22 rifles and pistols prior to that. At 9 unless your boy is a curve blower you will not find a 12 ga. that will fit him. They are all...
+1 on the 930 combo. The 930 is a good shotgun. Sounds like you are new to shotguns. the gas operation will keep the recoil down and allow you to shoot more.
Saigas are ok but the barrel is too short for serious trap or sporting clays
pistol grip only shot guns IMHO are worthless. A...

5 shot tracker with a 2 inch barrel the same size as my S&W 66. Very shootable due to the porting. Easily keeps all 5 on a paper plate at 25 yards off hand double action.
ricciardelli is correct about oal. But it needs mentioning that if you go below the listed oal(over all length) you will increase the pressure. The 40 is already a high pressure cartridge so you need to respect the min. oal. As to length you can go to the max. COAL over that and you will...
If you are going to be loading for pistols you will find that a single stage press is very laborious. At a minimum you should get one that takes the Die collets. I would recommend a Turret press to start.
1. yes - but why bother for pistol rounds
2. no case = no powder
3. 13 dollars extra order with press. If you are going to shoot lead I highly recommend this die. Make sure you get the carbide crimp die as it will post size your shells.
4. skip case trimmer. You need to get the...
Idano brings up a point I did not mention. The Reddings do have graduations that will read up to .5 gr over or under at the indicator end of the beam. Checking items of unknown weight is the one thing that keeps tempting me to try a digital scale.
So I was bored last night and decided to break out a few of my balance scales I have acquired over the years.
They were and RCBS 1010 and 510, Redding 1,2 and oil damped. That is 5 scales.
I used the weight from the 1010 which is 250 grains when used as a check weight. Some of the...
Does anyone have any? I have about 5 pounds that looks very good and I can not bring myself to get rid of it. 9mm, 45 acp, 45 colt, 44 mag, 357, 38sp,
45 schofield,
thanks
Do yourself a favor and get rid of the lube pad.
Dimples mean too much lube. But more importantly mean you got lube on the outside of the neck or the shoulder of the shell. Air can not escape from those places when you resize and forms a dent. It will shoot out when you fire them if they...
I would keep the classic turret for the rifle cartridges and use a loadmaster for the pistol. The priming system is fine if you can live with using winchester and cci primers. A small price to pay for not having to load them in tubes like some brands. I do not know of a better powder system...
5906 is a great firearm. unfortunalty the police surplus market has pushed the price down to 350 for a lnib police trade. CDNN also has a good supply of these on a regular basis.
If I was going to shell out that kind of dough for an AR I think I would get this
http://www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=3&f=121&t=269381
Takes any standard ar barrel. Changable mag well. Will take 223, 308, 6.8, 6.5 7.62.
