    Seeking information

My reference gives DOM as 1940. There is a lot of dissension in the various on-line forums, regarding Winchester serial numbers though. Most of the serial numbers come from Madis's books. These folks thing he was off by a couple of years, on a lot of the guns.

    Value of Danish Krag

Bunch of different variations are commonly found in both rifles. Without quality photos or a very specific description including all markings. It would be very difficult to give you any sort of appraisal.

    Colt .22 mag information

Can't help you with the second mag. The first might be the original one for the pistol though. Very early ( First 5,000? ) pre "Woodsman" magazines had a cast brass follower and very small numbers/lettering on magazine base. It should be a "two tone" ( top 1 1/4" not blued ). If it's original in...

Want to Identify an other older Smith & Wesson "Victory" Model

IMHO it would have more collectors value with the Bavarian Police? markings, rather them being milled off and replaced by Hebsacker's logo.

    waffen marked derringer?

For to many years now crooked folks have been making/using the steel punches, with the phony W W II German markings you describe. Unless you have a way to substantiate that the derringer was actually brought back from Europe after W W II, i.e. "Bring Back Paper(s)". All but the most naive...

    P38 Nickle Plated

"MP" marking on slide. The "MP" marking you reference on the slide of your pistol, is quite unique. Most CYQ's found with similar markings, ( denoting being manufactured by F N in Belgium ) are found in the "k" serial number range not the "m" such as yours. It's a pity that it's been...

BSA "Century" What is this thing?

CFT TARGET RIFLE This was the last target rifle BSA produced before they went belly up in the mid 80's. The weight was close to 11 pounds, kind of heavy for a sporter. They made quality products in their time, might be worth picking up if the price is right.

    Springfield SASS conversions

SASS in 223 Had one in 223 for a number of years. It seemed very unwieldy with its 15 in. barrel. Finally put a short Harris bipod and a Tasco red dot on it. Mostly used it as a conversation piece at the range. With Black Hills 55 grain soft points it would blow humungous holes in 3/8 steel...

    Mauser is it a 1914 or a 1934?

Mauser Variations Believe from your serial number, you have a model 1914. The 1910 model pocket pistols were in .25 acp. Yours is a later 1914 model in .32 acp, they're not compatible. These fine quality pictures are borrowed from Panchos excellent web-site www.panchogun.com notice the grips...

    Franz langenhan

Langenhan Rifles The only reference I could find was for a Friedrich Langenhan of Zella-Mehlis Germany. The time period was between the wars, ( early 20's to late 30's). The Rifle was a .22 rimfire "dropping-block" target rifle. They were fairly expensive for that time frame ( Depression )...

    Beretta m951 questions

There are (2) different versions of the Beretta Model 1951 used by the Egyptian Army. As the previous poster noted, the one sold commercially in this country as the "Helwan Brigadier", and made by the "Maadi" company is the more common. The one that is quite uncommon and valuable is the original...

Help me identify this FN pocket pistol

It's a "MODEL 1922" FN Browning. Supposedly it was much used as a military/police pistol during the time between the two World Wars. Approximately 200,00 were made for the Germans during their occupation of Belgium (1940-1944).
