I read that Biden wanted Lake City (Winchester) to cease all civilian sales of .223/5.56 ammo of any type. Maybe I read that wrong, but it sounds like something the Democrats would try. Obama tried when he was President and failed, now it's Sleepy Joe's turn.
I agree Mike, I have a stainless S&W mountain gun in 41 magnum. I handload for it and I find myself taking it along on backcountry trips instead of my much heavier Ruger SRH .454. Much handier and not lacking in power.
I got a Ruger SuperRedHawk in .454 Casull. I thought about getting one in .480, and boy am I glad I didn't. Ammo is impossible to find around these parts. I can load warm .45 Colt loads or full house .454's. I mostly shoot the .45's, getting to be a wuss in my old age.
