I have always heard the old timers refer to the .45 as big bore but then again never heard many conversations about the 41 mag so maybe it starts there but is it the same for rifle and pistol? Is 40 short and wimpy big bore?

dont have to deal with lead ring from 38spl getting in the way of the 357 going flush in the cylinder either...that is always annoying

i tend to ride the struggle bus. i started with lee loaders in 45c, 38/357 and 30-30 and a mallet. i think before you buy a press you should try one of those that way any press you get will look like heaven. i have a 4 hole lee turret now that i love. a coworker found out i was loading using lee...

i will also add if you buy 308,223 even 9mm there will be alot of crimped primers to deal with but if the price is right not a big deal to me

i have used diamond k brass alot anytime i have had questions i am able to call and talk to a person and get taken care of i just checked before posting and they had 380 available at this time but not sure if the price is comparable i havent checked brass exchange

i have used mbc 115gr coated with titegroup with great accuracy in a sig 365,p938 and an old s&w model 39 only had 1 issue when i didnt bell case mouth enough shaved some coating and caused a failure to go into battery...my fault for not catching it after i seated the bullet
