    Need advice new smaller gun

So after multiple LGS trips with some range time. She finally found it and it wasn't in nearly in the direction of what I understood she wanted. She landed on the sig p365 xl, her main complaint was the g2 was too large. So I figured a good part of it was the weight. Being slightly smaller in...

    Need advice new smaller gun

Thank you all we will be going gun shopping on Sunday, already confirmed that the LGS has all the ones we are considering available. I might even grab one for myself for around the house since I work from home. While my main EDC would be on my desk, unless they have a good deal on a Ar pistol...

    Need advice new smaller gun

Will keep in mind the differences in generations when we check them out. The 42 definitely won't work due to weight its heavy more so than her current g2, but the 43x seems like it might be a fair to give it a shot. She is always naturally draw to glock. The kick may not be much of an issue...

    Need advice new smaller gun

She has not but this also isn't our first go round at this. Yes it will be range tested prior to purchase, just as how she has done with the 2 other carry options she has currently. This is not a gun that will sit at home in a draw or safe this is something she would have with her anytime she...

    Need advice new smaller gun

I think you may have just swayed me towards the lcp for her to look at plus that holster comes in purple which she will loves. It's the finer details with her that usually matter. She has worked on turning the safety off while drawing part quite a bit. I run the G2C but never on safety. We...

    Need advice new smaller gun

Good morning everyone, Looking for a little advice on what direction to look. My wife is now returning back to work, however they will be adhering to some new policies. She started out with a g19 as her carry gun, then went down to a pt111 g2 due to size and weight differences. She has been...

So how many rounds have you fired

I've been shooting since I was really young, Can't really say how much i've shot in my 3 1/2 decades on this planet. For the last 5 or 6 years I've shot somewhere in the range of 10k yearly. I try to go the the range weekly, and usually send about 200 down range. This year not so much with...

chance of using your ccw for defense?

Don't know the statistics don't care to know. To me that is just a false sense of security, I rather always be aware an alert of my surroundings when I leave the house. Bad things happen even in good area's, it's not like a bad guy cant leave a bad area to go to a good area.

Do you guys take all this that seriously?

Outside of having to leave my home for an extended period most likely due to things like a hurricane. My EDC remains the same, G2C and a chepo pocket knife. I may add an extra mag depending on where I'm headed but to run to the store a few blocks away I don't feel the need to carry extra ammo...

I want to give Ruger my tax return!

While I don't own either I am current also looking for an ar pistol, haven't decided on 9mm or 300acc. So you first two fall in my list of what i would consider as well.

    It’s biting THEM now...

I witnessed this about a month ago. Had something shipped to one of the FFL's I frequent often. While waiting for my background check to clear. Mine always takes a while, but never had a problem. I watched several panic buyers. Come in pay, submit the background check, get approved and then be...

Have you purchased anything gun related in the last three days?

Ordered the LaserHit system off of amazon. The lack of range time is getting to me and I don't enjoy regular dry firing practice. This is a good in between buffer for times the range is inaccessible. Plus I can work on my draw stroke, and allows for multiple targets at once.

    Being embarrassed

Not at all and I'm on the lower end of the spectrum with only the EDC's and back up EDC for the wife and I. I did just get my funding for a rifle and ar pistol but will wait till times are a bit mellower. They aren't a need as we are city dwellers and don't really have a use for them outside of...

    Guns hidden throughout the home

We don't carry while in the house but there is usually one of our EDC's within arms reach until bed time when they get tucked into their night stand beds. Living on the top floor of the building dead center it makes us less likely for a home invasion than the neighbors, and neither of us is in a...

What are the best T-shirts for concealed carry?

Guess im one of those lucky/unlucky ones. I typically just can wear a plain black t-shirt from champs or footlocker in 2xl its not super loose nor form fitted and conceal no problem. I actually have a harder time when wearing button down shirts for like date night or events, even when they are...

    AR’s in New York

^This exactly There is a lot of restrictions you will have to watch out for like maximum 10 round mags, as well as the NY SAFE ACT. Which you may want to read up about as it can possibly narrow down your selection options even more. My brother still lives in NY and complains all the time since...

Sub sonic 9mm safe in Glock 19?

From what I have learned the last few days reading up on ar9's and ar45's. The main things that will be effected will be velocity. Subsonic will be traveling under 1100fps, as to not break the sound barrier. Will be fine to shoot just wont have as much of distance capabilities. Which IMO is not...

Glock 19 Gen 3 concealed carry

^This I personally could never carry a g19 doesn't work with my frame. Either it would print terribly or be so uncomfortable I would get sores. I'm 5'11'' and 245 so not a small guy but not a large guy either. My wife carried it for years and is 4'11" I don't know how she made it work but it did.

    How to carry with sweatpants

I tried the belt under the shorts today during a grocery run. Definitely works better as I usually have to retie the shorts when getting out the car to make sure they stay up. Might be my new go to for shorts and sweats carry.
