    Garmin Xero C1 Pro Chronograph

Got the Garmin a few weeks ago from Cabelas when they had a 10% off sale. Very sweet unit. First use was in an indoor range where it recorded CCI Standard Velocity perfectly from a handgun. Transfer to the app on my iPhone was flawless as well. Garmin have really hit it out of the park with this...

Labradar Doppler Chronograph in stock at Brownells -- for now

I was in the market for a Labradar but heard about the Garmin Xero C1. Bought the latter and couldn't be happier. Just used it in an indoor range to chrono CCI 40gr SV LR rounds out of a S&W 617.

    Favorite Browning Over/ Under?

I like the Superposed but haven't bought one as I'm wary of the hidden salt corrosion issue.

Target Sports USA - Not a scam?

They are my go-to mail order supplier. Packages come in discrete boxes and they are very reliable.

Anyone still bolt action shotgun hunt?

Love my Browning A-Bolt 12 gauge. Shoots 300 grain slugs and I have a Leupold Firedot scope on it. Usually get one deer during our two-week shotgun season.

Do you wear hearing protection when hunting?

I use Walkers Silencer 2.0 Electronic Ear Plugs. They are awesome, very comfortable and just block out the shot while allowing me to hear ambient sounds.

    Cabela's unbelievable

The Cabelas/BPS website and inventory system is pure garbage. I ordered 2 sets of Carbon Express arrows which were on sale for pickup at my local store. One set was cancelled and now I have only one set for pickup at the store. Won't bother to do this as it isn't worth the drive.

Deer hunter with questions about squirrels

I skin them when I get home after hunting for 2-3 hours. Skinning is tougher when they are cold but all the messy work gets done at once.

My Browning Hi power is acting up

If a Mec-Gar magazine doesn't fix the stovepipe it could be caused by friction from the hammer dragging on the slide. Can you explain the dragging, does the hammer not lock back when the slide snaps backwards? If so, it wouldn't be able to take the next shot.

    The Ruger MKIV handguns

I love my Mark IV target but my S&W 41 is a better shooter.

    Best 22lr for woodchucks

CCI Standard Velocity is among the most accurate rounds. Will easily produce a pass-through at 50 yards. If not a head or lung shot that drops it, the groundhog may run away but will be toast.

    Browning Maxus Hunter Experiences

Love my Maxus duck gun. Just as good as my Beretta A391 Extrema2 and reasonably priced. I have a waterfowl camo version and the print is holding up well.

Canada Gun Ban Pt 2 - It gets worse....

12 gauge is 18.5 mm diameter and 10 gauge is 19.7 mm diameter. They knew what they were doing.

Pyrodex, Triple 7, or the real deal...

I prefer Triple 7 as it has less sulfur in it than Pyrodex, thereby making it less corrosive. 2F for rifles and 3F for revolvers.

    ejector and an extractor?

I wouldn't bother with spare parts. I've shot a lot and all my shotguns are still working fine. Just enjoy shooting.

    Should I get a C&R?

First post here. I've had a C&R for a few years and it costs the same as a single transfer. Nice thing is that I can go to an auction house in the next state and just bring the C&R eligible gun back with me. Also, I don't need to complete a 4473/NICS check since the auction house is transferring...
