I've been using a 22lr bullet box, for my airforce condor 25. Have a piece of plywood behind it, if for some strange reason I miss the box. Hasn't happened yet.
I went thru National Gun Trust to get my EFT file. NGT setup an appointment at a local independent UPS store, NGT was $60. Found out when I got there they charge $100 for the same service if I would of walked in. At the UPS store they fingerprinted me electronically and I had the file emailed...
Cabelas went down hill after they expanded out of Nebraska, I grew up there and still hunt there. Lived in KC for 20 years and only went to the Cabelas there 2-3 times. Last gun I bought was out here in Colorado Springs at Bass Pro, have a few more to buy from there. Spending my Cabelas cash...
I bought a used SCUBA tank to fill my AirForce Condor, several times a year I take it to the SCUBA shop and they fill it for $5-10 a time. I can fill my gun many times from the SCUBA tank before I need to top of the SCUBA tank.
I've got the AirForce condor SS in 25cal, these guns are nuts on. It was my squirrel killer out to that range and beyond when I lived in MO. My record was 47 in one summer.
I got an Airforce Condor SS in 25 cal, very accurate and quiet. I could wack them at 3-50 yards easy when I lived in Kansas City and had it dialed down from full power. Out here in CO where I live now I don't have any critters to play with.
I did last year with my suppressors, I didn't use the Form since it is not required. Then again in 10 years I have never been questioned on the legality of them.
Just replaced my electronic lock on my liberty for the mechanical S&G lock on Amazon for $80. Only problem I ran into was the 1/4-20 screws to hold the mechanical lock to the safe were too long. Went to fastenal and for less then $2 got the correct ones. Learned a lot about how locks work...
Range I used to shoot at when I lived in KC was 100% NRA for the other programs listed above. They also started a Friends of the NRA banquet to raise money and also to get more money back to help out the club. I'm on a list out here in CO to join a new club, I think they are 100% NRA as well...
I might be a bit a jaded but I grew up in Nebraska and Cabela's was awesome till the 90's when they grew too much. I would love to have them back to 2 stores back in Nebraska. Back then prices were very competitive and had a really good return policy, probably too good. Last 20 years they are...
If I need ammo during one the ammo crisis's then I head over to https://www.wikiarms.com/. It basically an aggregator site that lists prices and availability by caliber. Looking at that site now, for .223 it seems to be a current price. I also like https://aimsurplus.com/, they don't seem to...
