It isn't wise to make a bunch of "hot" loads and try them in different rifles. Every rifle is different. You should use recommended starting charge weights and work up to what your rifle will operate safely at.

Mine is s tack driver with PPU 196 grain ammo. Putting a Bad Ace scout scope mount on it so I can better see the sighting system.

45-70 shot at 100 yards. Dropped him in his tracks, DRT. 52 grains of H4198 under 300 grain Barnes Original flatpoint bullet moving 2400 fps.

Large rifle primers

Mild loads around 14 grains of Trail Boss with Laser Cast 405 grain flat nose bullet. Accurate and mild recoil.

I use H4198 around 52 grains and a Barnes Original 300 grain bullet out of my JM Marlin 1895 moving around 2400 fps and deer are DRT. Not fun to bench but it will print .750 MOA. Amazing rifle that will take anything in NA.
