I don't want a Sig P365. Tell me why I'm wrong or offer options.

The XMACRO is a great pistol and the P365 is so modular and customizable that it doesn’t have to be ubiquitous, you can mod it seven ways from Sunday and truly make it yours. This is my FrankenSig P365 with Armory Craft optic ready, comped slide and pinky extensions on the mags, XL grip, Sig...

Henry Big Boy X Model - High Grin Factor!

I recently bought a Big Boy X in .357 to go with my Big Boy brass recover .357. I immediately got to work turning it into a zombie killer. Not everyone’s cup of tea I know, but it is a fantastic gun.

    Red dot mounting resource?

Clearly you know how the internet works because you’re on the forum. Do what the rest of us do. A two minute search will answer almost every question you have about red dots. Have fun with the difference between RMSc and Holosun’s modified RMS footprint. They are not the same.

Beretta Px4 Subcompact review (alot of pics)

What an odd looking little gun. It makes my .45 PX4 Full Size look like a supermodel. Do you think it was coincidence that it liked the Italian ammo best? 😎

    Freedom Ordinance FX9 opinions wanted

I’ve had the 8in version for a couple of years and SBR’d it and put a folding stock on it. It’s a great little gun, very accurate. It’s definitely money well spent.

    Sig P320 replacement trigger?

The Sig skeletonized flat trigger makes a lot of difference because of the geometry of the trigger. Same one that is used on the X5 Legion. I have one on my M17 and it took at least a pound off the trigger pull.

    Bore axis in autos

I couldn’t agree more. If it all boiled down to one thing then we would love every gun we come across - which is certainly not the case for me. I drank the VP9 kool aid big time - I have 5 of them. I like the VP9 a lot, the ergos really work for me. It has relegated a lot of my other striker...

    Bore axis in autos

I’m not looking to argue either. I was taken aback when someone showed me the relative similarity between the Sig and a 1911. Actually, I shot all three yesterday along with my VP9 which is probably the “not too hot, not too cold” gun of the bunch. I’m not really getting to grips with the H9...

    Bore axis in autos

The point made was that the 1911 doesn’t have anything remotely considered low bore axis and yet no one complains. Now as scientific as your eyeballing the tape measure may seem, the article linked below list bore axis heights of many common handguns including the 1911 and P320 both of which...

    Bore axis in autos

I knew as soon as I posted that someone would come back with my P320 compact isn’t the same. I laid my govt 1911 on top of my X5 Legion and they are identical. Here’s an M17 and a Kimber 1911 comparison from Handgun Hero.

    Bore axis in autos

I agree and I own a Archon Type B and the new Daniel H9 which both share a near identical bore axis height. Both are pretty flat shooters but the Archon more so. The Archon does not use a Browning action while the Daniel does. While low bore axis guns may not have quite the same muzzle flip they...

Daniel Defense H9, reboot of Hudson H9

It’s got good accuracy, but the trigger is a work-in-progress.

Daniel Defense H9, reboot of Hudson H9

In person it’s much better looking than a lot of the publicity pics have portrayed it. The slide and dust cover are the same depth as a Sig 226 or an HK VP9. The trigger sitting higher than usual is what gives it the odd look. The finish and color of the gun, which is a dark grey is really nice...

Daniel Defense H9, reboot of Hudson H9

It will all depend on how the market responds to the Daniel H9. I bought one and I’m actually not sure what it’s supposed to be besides a tribute gun to the H9. It doesn’t look anywhere near as extreme in person as it does in a lot of the online content. It’s nice looking but actually kind of...

    Tisas B9 Duty 9MM

I just saw today that Tisas will have a double stack version of the 9mm Duty that will retail for $799 early 2024. Forged barrel, frame and slide with polymer grip module. It will direct mount an optic, comes with suppressor height sights (the rear sight is a Glock cut), and is compatible with...

Henry 22 "Golden Boy Rifle / RANGE UPDATE

+1 for TGE Skinner peeps sights. Put one on my Big Boy. Naturally, the stock front sight did not work with the peep sight and I had to go down that rabbit hole. My semi- buckhorn worked fine I just didn’t like it.
