I recently talked with a man who lived in Vietnam, and he said that only police have guns and he posted a photo of what he keeps by his bed (a very large machete). I can't imagine being in a place that doesn't allow gun ownership.
So this is something I have pondered since getting married (I'm in my early to mid twenties):
What do you think the future of gun ownership will be for my children and generations after? Do you think kids will have interest in guns? Do you think attitude of future gens will shift towards...
Excuse me please for responding too fast, I see your article that was posted and read over it, which is basically what I was getting at. I didn't speak clearly on my initial comment.
I am not talking about a sort of execution style shooting, but rather someone has pulled a knife or gun on me. If that situation has risen, I have assumed they do not value their life or don't asses risk in their actions and next that I am going to react and place shots that will end the threat...
I believe you're right, but I feel your shot placement should be to kill and to stop the threat. If you're in a situation where you have pulled your gun in self defense, the other person has already written off their life.

G Conversion kit from beretta
I flew out of Atlanta twice, once to Fort Lauderdale (same airport of the shooting) with 5 guns, and then to Denver with just my Glock and had no zip ties. Dunno what or who does that thing but I’ve heard it a lot.
Hi all, this portion of the handguard is from my newly acquired 1917 (Gramps gave it to me as an early Christmas present).
Naturally I took it completely apart and on this portion there is a crack, it looks like someone used some sort of glue prior to this but it flakes off now and I don't...
Sig P226 will always be my absolute favorite, it's sexy, it's reliable, and its battle proven. I like my Glock 43, I'll carry it till I die probably but I will never enjoy shooting any glock over shooting my 226
Regret buying:
Remington R1 1911. What junk, barrel swelled to the point that the bushing was clamping on the barrel and causing failures to return to battery. Then the finish was trash, left it out one night to return to a surface rusted gun.
Sig P226.....(in 40 S&W) I have since sold that...
I will say, reloading is a great way to end up shooting a lot more. You won't save money in the end, but you will have shot more! I am shooting a mk262 clone I made for less than 30 cents a round vs the 1.00 plus it would cost for factory loads. 38 special I'm making for about 9 cents.
I know most don't keep track but for those who have got a loose estimate what would yours be? I have a M&P 9 Full Size (First Gen) that has roughly 14-15 thousand rounds through it. I have heard of some running well over 100k through certain revolvers or glocks.
Mechanical durability of...
