    What did you shoot today?

For me, it was a 1911 day at the range. I took my EDC Kimber Arctic LW and a Tisas to the range. I had put together an assortment of every different profile of JHP I could find in my ammo fort, as well as some RN range ammo as a control. I was looking for these many Kimber issues I keep hearing...

I see a clue about this site. Regardless if you add a zero or two, it's still a scam website.

    Biden closes ‘gun show loophole’

The phrase "gun show loophole" is a very carefully chosen phrase. To the uninformed it sounds like anybody off the street can walk into a gun show and buy anything they want from whoever they want. If they used an honest phrase, they would say they are "outlawing face-to-face, person-to-person...

FN sues Ruger over trademark infringement

I understand that many parts interchange between this latest model and the vintage BHP. But yes, there are a lot of newly redesigned parts.

Where are Reloading Components Available/On Sale (Not a Discussion Thread, Link Required)

Cabela's has Winchester #41 small rifle primers for $63/1000. https://www.cabelas.com/shop/en/winchester-41-small-rifle-primers-for-556mm The shelf was marked $99.95 but it rang up correctly at the register.

    Gun range/Club rates

I have three ranges I am a member of. Two of them are $25/year, and all that gets me is a quicker sign in at the front desk, since I don't have to fill out the paperwork every time I go there. There is still a range rental fee. The third range is $20/month and that is unlimited no-cost visits...

Welcome, Dr. Dingus. However, I agree, it's hard to take you seriously. I'm my opinion all avatars must be serious and professional.

I have two Savage Axis II rifles, one in 6.5 Creedmoor and one in .308 Winchester. Both are very accurate and have been very reliable.

    Affordable 22LR (Lowest shipped pricing)

Family in from out of town and an early snowfall has frustrated my plans to go shoot. I may take a long lunch later this week and go to the range. But I also need to check the zero on my rifle, so I might not get to the Aguila.

Ammoplanet (no hyphen) is a legitimate site. I purchased 2000 rounds of Aguila .22LR on 11/20 and received my shipment today, 11/24. Cost less than $90 for 2000, including shipping. Phone number and mailing address are on the website. https://www.ammoplanet.com/faq Sorry about the upside down...

    mighty tempting

The anti-gunners choose their words carefully. They say "buyback" but they really mean takeaway. And it's not junk guns they are after, it's all guns. They also want it to be a commonplace idea where citizens hand over firearms to them, normalizing the idea and action. Perhaps even "grooming" us...

    1911 Hammer bite - remedies?

I never had hammer bite until I bought a Talyor's and Company 1911 from Palmetto State Armory. This firearm is a pre-1911A1, or at least they tried to make it an original 1911. It's not a perfect reproduction, but the hammer and grip safety are very close to the original pre-1924 era M1911. I...
