    Considering a new action

It depends on what you're trying to achieve. If you're after smallest agg. groups, you probably need to consider the rifle type and the caliber. Shooting a benchrest rig is very different than varmint rig. If you're looking at an action, go all the way with the right stock, scope, trigger and...

    HS6 in 38/357 with 158 Grain Cast

For reference, I'm shooting Missouri 158 SWCs (18 BHN) w/ Hi-Tek coating out of a Taurus 66 4" in .357 Mag. With 8.5 gr of HS-6, I get 1,108 fps. With 9.4 gr, I get 1,241 fps. Both of those loads were my accuracy nodes.

    Ruger PCC FTE

This hasn't been my experience with my Ruger PCC. I run 124 gr RMR MPRs with 5.1 gr CFE Pistol. I have jams all the time. I don't seem to have the issue when I switch to a max load of HS-6.

LE Wilson Case trimmer with micrometer worth the money?

I started with one and it is a quality piece of gear. However, trimming is one of the messiest and most time consuming jobs by the time you trim, chamfer and debur. I wanted something faster and went with a Giraud. It would be interesting to see someone put a cutter on a Wilson that can cut...

    Anderson AM-15?

I haven't found anything wrong with it. Tuned loads shoot about 1" @ 100 yards. Trigger is gritty but that can be replaced.

    Removing Military crimp-- swage, ream?

Dillon Super Swager has worked well for me.

    Carry Safety

That lady will forever live with the notion that her judgement and decision-making caused her to lose a child. I don't wish that on anyone no matter how poor the judgement. No sentence imposed will be more the lesson than losing her child.

Is your measure gritty with H110?

I had the issue with the Lee. I switched to the Lyman Brass Smith and no more issues.

    Mauser M18 vs M12

Also, the trigger out of the box on my M12 breaks at 2 lbs even. Never had a factory rifle with such a light (and crisp) trigger.

Perfect spring day at the range

I like TAC-22 in the 10/22. It's pretty amazing stuff at the price point it was a couple years back.

    Mauser M18 vs M12

I have the Mauser M12 Extreme Impact 20" fluted. They were blowing them out a few years back at ~$500. It's an amazingly accurate rifle with one of the best triggers out of the box. However, it's not adored by the American market due to having a thermo-fit barrel (think JP Precision approach...

The .44M 240XTP with Unique powder, Rossi R92

I found that 9.8 gr of Unique behind a 240gr JSP in my 20" Rossi R92 is my accuracy load. It's pushing them 1,285 fps. It's perfect for plinking and woods hunting.

HS6 Data Differences in 357 Magnum

Using 8.5 gr of HS-6 with RP .357 brass and pushing a Missouri Bullet 158 gr LSWC Hi-Htek (18 BHN) gave me an avg of 1,1108 fps. Using 9.4 gr of HS-6 with Win .357 brass and pushing the same MB bullet above gave me an avg of 1,241 fps. Both above were from a 4" Taurus 66.

    Rebarreling a Remington 700

If the operative term is "cost" here and you have any mechanical ability, you're in luck. I would recommend a Remage setup that you can screw on and headspace yourself. I've had excellent luck with Criterion barrels from Northland Shooters Supply. A stainless barrel will run you $325 and barrel...

Is Taurus a Good Brand for Revolvers

I was in the market for an inexpensive .357 for farm chores and general plinking. I chose the Taurus 66 7 shot. While it's not a S&W or a Colt, I've been nothing but impressed with it. It's done everything requested of it. I also have S&Ws...They're nice but not worth double the Taurus.

.44 Mag Tracker ($350) last one I promise

You got a deal. I think Taurus these days offers a lotta bang for the buck.

    Cfe pistol 45acp 230gr

Are you sure about this? Hodgdon shows 5.1 gr as max for a 124 gr bullet in 9mm. I'm running 5.1 gr and it's definitely snappy. I couldn't imagine running 6.5 gr.
