    SAA Gen2 .38 Special ($2400.. to much)

That's a very reasonable asking price. If you want a 7 1/2 .38 Special I'd be grabbing it. Course I would try to get it for less.

Any commemorative Win 94 collectors out there?

I am googled out trying trying to answer this one. Wondering if anyone knows if the 94 commemeratives that were offered in either rifle or carbine barrel lengths, i.e. Centennial 66's, Canadian Cent., Golden Spike, conformed to any particular ratio of rifles to carbines. For example, the run of...

Double actions- K frame Smith's, currently have a 32-20, and .38 both 5 screws. Also love my 4.25 in. Sp101 in .327. Single action- New Vaquero in .45. Cant afford to sniff a Colt, so I havent been able to compare, but trying to save up for one in 38/40.

100 yrs old and lookin good (to me)

Thanks a bunch for the tip on ammonia. I had a hunch that nickel needed extra attention but hadnt had time to research it yet. I like the finish as is and wouldn't think of trying to improve it.

Putting to rest the myth of the "Cowboy Carry": Colt + S&W recommended carry w/all 6 chambers loaded

Good stuff! Thanks for all the docs. Folks back then didn't allow fear to rule their lives.

That's a mighty fine looking example there. I wish I had bought all the ammo I saw a few years back.

100 yrs old and lookin good (to me)

I had to buy the gun to get the 300 rounds of ammo that came with it. 100 factory Win, and 200 handloads to recycle. I am getting set up for reloading, so I'll have plenty of components.

100 yrs old and lookin good (to me)

Was talking to a friend of my Dad's the other day and found out he was parting with a couple guns he had inherited from his grandfather. I've had the .32 bug for quite a while, and 32-20 has eluded me till now. AFAIK, this is a 32-20 Hand Ejector Model 1905, 4th change. SN 92,5xx. My best...

    OK I am a sucker for 4 5/8 Barreled Ruger Blackhawks !

I am down to one Blackhawk currently. A 1982 .45 Convertible. It was two toned by a previous owner and I like it. It's my "desert island" Blackhawk. Going to send him off soon for some custom work. I have very slightly preferred Vaqueros in the past and have a brand new .45 on layaway.

Given hope for .32 Magnum lovers

I hope Federal is not just pulling your leg. I too would like to see some plain ole lead swc or other " affordable" H&R. I am finding Fed .327 for my SP101 for .85 per rd so I'm not 32less yet. Heres my 3, and still lookin for others.

Recommend a new rifle caliber for me

Since you reload, heres another 6.5 I didnt see mentioned- 6.5×.284. Short action with near magnum ballistics. And +1 on the .35 Rem, or .358 Win.
